"Isn't this a great place?" Simba questioned as they walked.
"It is beautiful. But I don't understand something. You've been alive all this time. Why didn't
you come back to Pride Rock?" Nala inquired sadness clear in her voice.
"Well, I just needed to... get out on my own. Live my own life. And I did. And it's great" Simba stated down casting his gaze.
"We've really needed you at home." Nala said getting straight to the point.
"No one needs me." Simba said quietly looking away.
"Yes, we do! You're the king." Nala cried out meeting his surprised look at her sudden outburst.
"Nala, we've been through this. I'm not the king. Scar is." Simba said gently standing to walk away.
Nala angrily jumped in front of his path, "Simba, he let the hyenas take over the Pride Lands."
"I don't belong there, go find someone else" Simba snapped walking past her leaving her stunned.
