Ishqi came to ahaan and sat near him
Ahaan- ishqi, kartik...kartik ko kuch hoga toh nhi na
Ishqi - nhi avm, usse kuch nhi hoga
Ishqi was scared herself, but she knew she needed to be strong for ahaan
Whenever ishqaan was in trouble , their secret agent KM was there to the rescue, he was always there for them , no matter what, but today when he was in trouble they felt really helpless.
As the doctors and nurses rushed into the theatre . Ahaan was in a daze
Ahaan - ishqi aaj zara se bhi deri hojati toh kartik... Aaj humare sath nhi...
Ishqi - subh subh bolo avm! Bhagwaan ka lak lak shuqar he ki, hum sahi time pe kartik tak pahunch payi

Ahaan - usse kuch hogaya toh mein apne aap ko maaf nhi kar paunga
Ishqi - avm woh jaldi teekh hojayega , usse ek baar udne do, aap dekhna usske ache se class lungi mein, usse pata hona chahiye this ishqi is very risky
Ahaan- usse mein aaj thapad mara tha ishqi , woh bahut naraaz hoga Mujhse, kahi mere wajah se yeh sabh...
Ishqi- AVM!! Apne aap ko bewajaha blame mat karo, aur aisa kya naubat aagya ki aap uspe haath uthaye
Ahaan narrates the happenings
Ishqi - aap bhi na kamaal karte ho, mujhe pata he apko uski bahut parva he, par woh uska raasta khud chunna chahta he, toh burayi kya he. Usse ek mauka toh do, mujhe pata he aap usse bahut pyaar karte he, woh apko nirash nhi karenge
Ahaan - ha ishqi mein ek kya hazaar mauke dene keliye tayaar hu, woh bas teekh hojaye, isse zyaada mein kuch bhi nhi chahti

Meanwhile sonu was also feeling guilty for venting her foul mood on kartik, unlike retorting back and continuing their usual banter kartik has cut the call when she refused for the movie,that meant something had really upseted cheapda
Even though sonu and kartik constantly picked up fights , pulled each other's leg and irritated eo to no end ,She literally adored him , they had a different connect, more than a brother her cheapda was her best friend and crime partner
So she had tried to call kartik, but he wasn't picking up calls, And no one was home too, this made her worried so she decided to call ahaan. Now,even her bhaiyya wasn't picking up calls
To her relief raj has returned from his office, so she asked him to call ahaan
Here ahaan and ishqi had completed all the necessary formalities and were anxiously waiting outside OT
That's when ringing of his cell caught ahaan's attention. Sonu has been calling him for a long time, there were missed calls from raj too,What was he supposed to tell sonu. He needed her badly by his side now, but stress wasn't good for her health .
Ishqi - aap raj ko call karo , woh sonu ko bhi sambhalenge
Ahaan called raj, he picked up the call
Raj - bhaiyya kya aaplog kahi bahar ho, sonu aapko phone karne ki koshish kar rhi thi, kartik ka bhi phone unreachable he
Ahaan- Raj!! Mere baat sun, Tu jaldi city hospital aaja
Raj - kya hospital,bhaiyya aap teekh ho
Ahaan- Raj mein teekh... hu.. Par ..kar..kartik ka accident ho gayya he
Raj was shocked by the sudden news and didn't notice sonu standing behind him
Raj - kyaaa.. Kartik ka accident, mein abhi niklta hu bhaiyya, aap pareshaan mat hoyiye

Sonu was shocked to hear Raj, she started sobbing
Sonu - raaj mujhe abhi ke abhi hospital jaana he, mujhe kartik se milna he
Raj - sonu apne aap ko sambhalo, iss waqt tension lena tumhare liye teekh nhi he, mein abhi hospital jaake kartik ko dektha hu, aur tumhe inform bhi kar dunga
Sonu - nhi raj,mujhe kartik se milna he, yeham baitke meri tension aur bad jayegi, plz mein bhi chal rhi hu tumhare saath

As sonu was adamant ,they quickly drove to the hospital
sonu rushed to ahaan's side and started weeping heavily. Meanwhile ishqi informed them about the mishap

Sonu- bhaiyya, woh cheapad ka dyaan kidhar tha, woh aise kaise gaadi chala rehe the
Ahaan- pata nhi sonu usse kya hogaya, par agar hum thodi deri kardi toh hum..hum shaayad usse kho ..kho ..sakte the
ahaan said all broken
Sonu - (sobbing) Thank god ki aap dono the usske saath .
All of them were waiting outside the operation theatre
Raj noticed ishqi, ahaan and sonu each of them were tensed and all their eyes reflected pain and helplessness. His saale sahab was indeed one of a kind, he knew kartik's presence always lightened everyone's mood ,now he could see how his absence made a bigger impact
After what seemed like ages a doctor came up
Doctor - aap log Mr kartik ki relatives haina
Ahaan- ji doctor, wo mera bhai he, woh kaise he, unhe zyada chot toh nhi ayi, woh teekh haina
Ahaan bombarded him with questions
Doc - unki operation hogyi he ,unhe hum observation mein 4-5 ghante rakhenge ,phir hum unhe room mein shift karenge, jab woh stable ho jaye
Ahaan - doc ghabrane ki koyi baat he kya,woh abtak stable kyu nhi he
Doc - dekhiye unhe bahut blood loss huva he due to the chest injury, glass piece kafi andar tak ja chuka tha, unke sar pe bhi gehri chot he, paav mein fracture aur thodi minor injuries bhi he . Toh stable hone mein thoda waqt toh lagega hi
Ahaan face fell, ishqi was tensed and sonu was crying hugging raj
Ahaan - usse kab tak hosh aayega doctor
Doctor - kal subah take unhe hosh aajayega ,phir hume kuch zaroori test bhi karna he.
Sonu - kya hum usse mil sakte he
Doc - filhaal Woh intensive care unit mein he ,toh aap mein se koyi ek abh mil sakte he,phir ekbaar patient ko hosh aaye toh you all can meet him tomorrow
Ishqi - ji doctor,dhanyavaad
AVM ,aap jakar kartik se mil lijiye ,hum bahar intezar karenge
Ahaan nodded and took slow steps towards the ICU
He took in the sight of his brother hooked up to IV and vital sign monitors, kartik had never gotten sick enough to be confined to bed for a few days, but now as he laid as still as a statue
ahaan's heart bled seeing him like this,his torso and head had heavy bandages ,his leg was in a cast ,The haunting silence,kartik's pale face and occasional beeps from machines seem to engulf and suffocate ahaan

He went near him and softly caressed his face ,a muffled sob escaped his lips

Ahaan - kartik ,tu itne careless kaise ho sakta he, tujhe andaza bhi he ki aaj kya ho sakta tha.. Kartik.. Tu sun raha he kya... Kartik
Ahaan made a vain attempt to wake him but all kartik did was lay impassive
Ahaan - Yaar plz udd ja ,mein tujhe aise nhi dekh sakta, tujhe jitna irritate karna he, mere tang kichayi karna he karde ,par aise mazak matkar, humesha bak bak karta rehta he na toh aaj itna chup kyu ho , atleast yeh toh puch le ki bhaii.....kya ho rhea he
Ahaan somehow controlled himself from another breakdown,flashes of kartik trapped in that car still gave chills to his spine ,at least his brother was in front of him safe .he turned around took another look at his sleeping figure and left the room with a heavy heart
Sonu rushed towards ahaan
He gathered strength and acted strong in front of sonu
Sonu - bhaiyya kartik kaisa he?
Ahaan - woh abhi so raha he, kal tak wo udd jayega
Sonu - bhaiyya...cheapad teekh nhi haina?
Ahaan - wo teekh nhi he sonu, par usse jaldi teekh hona padega,tujhe pata he na woh kaisa he, woh humse thoda naraz he isliye humme pareshaan kar raha he, par hum usse mana lenge
Sonu nodded half heartedly
Ahaan - sonu, mujhe lagta he ki tum dono ko ghar wapas jana chahiye, iss waqt stress teri sehat keliye teekh nhi he
, waise bhi kartik ko kal hi hosh aayega aur sirf do log hi raat ko ruk sakte he , toh mein aur ishqi he yeham
Raj - bhaiyya, mein ruk jaata hu
Sonu aur ishqi ko ghar jaane dijiye
Ishqi - nhi raaj mein rukungi , tum log ghar javo, sonu ko iss waqt tumhare zaroorat he
After lot of convincing sonu and raj left the hospital.
