Kartik was slowly gaining consciousness
He tried to open his eyes but it seem to sting because of the sudden brightness
He was in an unfamiliar surrounding as his eyes got adjusted to light he realised he was probably in a hospital . He was hurting all over his body in a numb sort of way. His head felt jittery ,and legs were heavy,he tried to get up , but a lancinating pain crept up from his chest, he made another attempt and this time he hissed in shear pain
This caught ahaan's attention, he quicky rushed to kartik's aid and he held him carefully
Kartik - Bhaii... Kartik said weekly
Ahaan - kartik!! Kya kar rha he, tujhe chot lagi he, aaram se let ja
Ahaan helped him lie down comfortably,
Kartik tried to remember what had happened, he only got some blurry flashes of his accident and ishqi and ahaan coming to help him.
Ahaan had immediately gone to call the doctor.
The doctor came and checked kartik
Dr - hello young man, how are you feeling now?
Kartik - mein teekh hu doctor, bas thoda dard ho rha he
Dr- u had a bad accident, but aap lucky he aapki family aapko sahi time pe hospital le ayi ,now you need proper care and rest for few days
Kartik nodded
Doctor called ahaan to his cabin to brief up about kartik's health
Ahaan - Dr abh kartik kaise he?
Dr - dekhiye aap ke bhai abh stable he, par unke chest mein gehri chot aayi he toh unhe ek do din utne betne mein takleef hoga, he would need regular dressing, medication and care, unke head injury mild he.
We did a scan usmein koyi complication nhi he, aur leg ka fracture utarne mein bhi teen hafte lagenge . Toh hum unhe ek do din observation pe rakhenge, phir we can discharge him , just make sure he gets proper care aur woh zyada exert na kare.
Ahaan- ji doctor thank you, hum uska pura dhyaan rakhenge

Meanwhile
Ishqi came near him and held his hand ,she sat beside him and slowly ruffled his hair
Ishqi - thank god ki tu udd gya kartik tunne hum sabko kitna dara diya,tum abh kaise ho, zyada dard ho raha he kya
Kartik - bhabhi .. Mein abh better hu

Ahaan came back and saw ishqi helping kartik sit in a reclined position and was making him drink water he adored their bond for sometime.
Kartik - bhabhi.. Mein waham kaise.. I mean ...accident but mujhe teek se yaad nhi aa rha
Ishqi - avm aur mein tumhe raste pe dekha tha, tum car ke andar phas gye the aur tujhe bahut chot bhi lagi thi,hum jaldi tumhe hospital lekar aagaye

Ahaan came near them and looked at kartik accusingly
Ahaan - ishqi pucho na apne pyaare devar se, janaab kaise ghaadi chala rahe the
Kartik - bhaii.. Mein..teekh..teekh hu
Ahaan - dikh raha he ki tum kitna teekh he, haina ishqi
Kartik looked at ishqi for help, but to his dismay , his bhabhi had other plans
Ishqi - haa avm, kartik toh ekdum fit and fine he, woh abhi ek marathon bhaag ke aa sakta he

Kartik - Bhaii.. Bhabhi, i am sorry. Mein aage se dhyaan rakhunga
Ishqi - yeh sorry ka hum kya kare ,achaar dale, aage aise kuch kiya na phir dekhna tujhe mein chodungi nhi, tu mujhse bahut pitega you will know this ishqi is very very risky
Kartik - baap re baap ..apne beemar khaayal, bhai ko aise kon kehta he..
Ahaan - kartik apna nautanki band kar he came forward and twisted his ear lightly
Kartik - aah.. Bhai chodo na dard ho rha he
Ahaan immediately left his ear and hugged him tightly
He was teary eyed - kartik plz aapna dhyaan rakh, aise harkat koyi karta he kya
Ishqi decided to leave the brothers alone for sometime. She stepped outside and decided to inform sonu
Kartik in an effort to lighten the situation said
Kartik - bhaii aap ahaan the mahaan se ahaan the pareshaan kyu ho rhe ho, mera bas haath per toot gayya he mein seedha upar nhi pahuncha hu
Ahaan - kartik !! Chup, ekdam chup Har cheez ka mazak bana ke rakha he ,agar aise waise baatein ki toh ,tera doosra tang bhi tod dunga
Ahaan raised his hand and acted like hitting him and kartik played along and arched forward trying to dodge it.
The sudden jerk caused a stich in his chest to slightly open up and it started to bleed. kartik held his torso and flinched in pain
Ahaan immediately made him lie down. But bleeding didn't seem to stop
Ahaan panicked and immediately called the nurse, she came and did the dressing and advised kartik not to move too much

Ahaan - kartik Tu teekh haina, zyada dard ho rha he kya
Even though kartik was in a lot of pain he didn't show much to ahaan
Kartik- bhai ...relax, mujhe zyada nhi lagi, mein jaldi teekh ho jaunga, phir hum saath mein bhangda karenge
Ahaan - kartik ,Tujhe chot lagi he, yeh uchal khud mat kar. Aur yeh jhoot mat bol ki mein teekh hu ,mujhe pata he tujhe bahut dard ho raha he, mein tujhe aur dard nahi dena chahta
Ahaan felt guilty again and stole his glance away from kartik and quickly wiped a traitor tear

Kartik - bhai aap mujhse nazren kyu chura rhi ho, aap mujhse naraz he kya?
Ahaan - tu rest kar, mein baad mein aati hu.
He tried to leave but kartik held his hand

Kartik - bhaii, batavo na kya baat he
Ahaan - kuch nhi he, tu aaram se let ja aapne aap ko exert mat kar ,mein tere medicines leke aata hu
Kartik - jab tak aap nhi batayenge mein bhi rest nhi karunga
Ahaan - kartik zidd mat kar
Kartik - Aapka bhai hu zidd toh hogi na
Ahaan sighed
Ahaan- I am sorry yaar.....pata nhi mujhe kal kya hogya tha
Mein apne aap ko control nhi kar paya agar mein tujhe woh sabh nhi kehta toh shayad tera accident nhi hota ,na tu aise haalat mein hota.
Kartik - bhaiii... Plz apne aap ko blame mat karo,aapke wajahse kuch nhi huva he, mein bhi kal overreact kiya tha
Aur rahi baat accident ki toh meine hi ghaadi chalate waqt dhyaan nhi diya tha.
Ahaan - tujhe dhyaan rakhna chahiye tha kartik,kal kuch bhi ho sakta tha
Kartik nodded cutely and held his ear using one hand and mouthed another sorry , ahaan sighed seeing his antics

Ahaan -kartik, ek aur baat, tu wahi karna jo tujhe acha lage, mein tumhe kisi cheez keliye force nhi karunga agar teri khushi hotel management karne mein he toh uski course hi padlena , koyi bhi tujhe force nhi karega infact mein sabse baat karunga
Kartik - aww.. Mera bhaai.. Sabse best he
Will you be my brother forever?
Ahaan - kartik ,I am serious, tu jo bhi karega, tera bhai he tere saath
Kartik - thank you bhaii.. Yehi mere liye kafi he
Ahaan - hmm.. Anyway tu rest kar tujhe aaram ki bahut zaroorat he
Ishqi came back with some food for them and saw a more relaxed ahaan sitting beside kartik
She sent a silent thanks to her mummy for making every thing fine,both these malhotra brothers were damn precious to her
she fed some soup to kartik and gave him medicines
A nurse had come over to give injection to kartik, but our hero was scared of it
Kartik - bhaii.. Aap kehdo na inse ki mujhe tablets de, yeh injection ki kya zarurat he
Ahaan - acha bachu,tujhe achese jaanta hu mein ,chup chap injection le, warna tu injection ke saath saath marr bhi khayega
Kartik pouted cutely and whispered to ahaan
thapadd se dar nhi lagta sahab injection se lagta he
Ahaan came and held kartik's hand tightly and kartik closed his eyes
Ahaan - aap injection laga dijiye , yeh
Lato ke bhut bato Se nahi mante

nurse laughed seeing their antics,she gave injection and left the room
Kartik - kya bhai, apne mera izzat ka dajiya uta liya , dekho na bhabhi
Ishqi - avm khabardar mera devar ka mazak udaya toh , koyi bhi tujhe tang nhi karega ,tu aaram se let ja
Ahaan - phirse,bhabhi aur devar ek team ho gaye
Ishqi - hum toh humesha se ek mein team mein he avm ,hum bhi toh bhevar he, humara untootable bond he
Ishqi went near kartik and they hi - fied

Ahaan smiled at them,he was too fond of his dramatic duo
He helped kartik to lie down properly .
Kartik was exhausted by now and he was given sedatives and strong analgesics too so sleep took over him very easily
