21 | what is the plan from here

Taehyung has been awake since five in the morning. It is currently ten, and the male has just finished organising some papers.

He felt terrible that Jungkook had to stay at a hotel, but Jungkook showed he did not care.

The raven walked in as soon as visiting hours started. He spent the morning feeding Ara while Taehyung got some sleep.

Jungkook was not sure where the male would stay. He does not like the idea of him staying with his parents. He did not like his parents and never will.

He wonders if Taehyung would feel comfortable staying with him. They have a spare room, and there is just something about Taehyung being far away that he does not like.

"Did you have a good sleep?" Jungkook whispered to the brunette, who sat up from the hospital bed.

"Yeah, thank you for looking after her", he whispered back.

"She has been fed, and the nurses changed her diaper when I went toilet", Jungkook replied, looking at the baby in his arms.

"She is perfect, Tae".

"She is", The brunette replied, looking at the two of them together.

"Are you going to go back home?" The black-haired male questioned, turning his head towards Taehyung, who shrugged.

"I have not figured that out. I was thinking about it last night. I have enough money to look into getting an apartment."

"Would that be something you are interested in?"

"Yeah, I mean, why not? It would be safer, less noise, and she could have her room. I would have to figure out what I would do about work. Going on the benefit won't cover much."

"How about you stay at mine till we figure something out?" Jungkook questioned.

"Are you sure? will Hana be okay with that?" The brunette asked, feeling worried.

"Of course, she would. I am sure she would love to meet Ara," The male replied. "I will go talk to one of the nurses. I will be back," Jungkook said— standing up from the couch and walking over to Taehyung, slowly placing Ara in his arms.

"Okay", Taehyung whispered back, smiling down at his daughter.

"Hi, Ria?" Jungkook said from the hallway, seeing the nurse that has been helping Taehyung out.

"Mr Jeon! everything okay?" She questioned, walking up to him.

"Yeah, everything is good! I just wanted to ask, when are we allowed to leave?" Jungkook questioned.

"You can leave when we have Ara in the system, so the doctors are all set up if anything happens. She has her birth certificate. I have left some new baby clothes, bottles, formula, dummies, baby capsules and a few other things the hospital provides."

"That is amazing. Thank you for all your help" She smiled and waved her hand.

"No need to thank me, If you ever need help though, I have left my card in one of the presents for Ara. Don't hesitate to contact me. I am also a midwife. A before and after one, as I like to call it" Ria smiled, shaking Jungkook's hand.

"Everything should be in Taehyung's room."

"Thank's again, Ria!" Jungkook felt so grateful to have a nurse that cares about them this much. He returned to the room to see Taehyung standing by the bed with Ara lying on it.

"Ready to go?" The male questions. After receiving a nod, he walked to the gifts that were in a corner.

"Before we go, let me put all this stuff in the car. I will lock in the car seat".

"Thanks, Gguk" The male smiled when he watched the basketball player start to grab a few things and leave the room.

"Isn't he amazing?" Taehyung said happily to Ara, awake, looking up at her dad with a fond gaze. After twenty minutes, Jungkook was finished.

Taehyung quickly picked up Ara, who was making little noises. As he walked towards the car, the raven made sure nothing was in the way of the brunette.

"I got a nurse to help me buckle it to the car, so it should be safe" Jungkook smiled, watching his best friend place Ara into the car seat.

"Do you wanna sit in the back with her while I drive?" Taehyung nodded, liking the idea. After buckling her in, making sure she was comfortable, he walked to the other side of the car and hopped in.

He felt nervous, not sure what other people's reactions were going to be. The male felt thankful to have Jungkook by his side.

Whenever he felt like slipping, his best friend was there to pull him back onto his own two feet. One thought he had since they started to see each other again was about the party.

They still had not talked about it. Taehyung was unsure what he would say cause he didn't regret making out with him. It felt good. Why would he want to stop? He just does not know if Jungkook feels the same.

They are meant to be best friends, so it feels a little wrong but so good at the same time.

"What are you going to do about school on Monday?" Jungkook questioned, eyes focused on the road.

"Not sure, to be honest. I have been trying to get my attendance to go up, not down" "I might talk to one of the teachers I trust and see what they think. I know there is a daycare by the college.

I don't know how much it cost, though," The brunette replied, eyes turning to his baby girl.

"We will sort something out, yeah."

"Yeah"
