It was so hard to convince him to go home. Kung ano-ano ng palusot at kasinungalingan ang ginawa ko, ayaw talaga niyang umuwi. It was almost so close to impossible. Thankfully, the kiss helps me convince him a bit because he loosened up and finally agreed to go home.

I was guilty because I know he's waiting for nothing. Diretso ang uwi ko pagka-ayos ko sa flight. I turned off my phone the whole time to cut our communication until I finally arrived home.

Gulat na gulat sina Mama nang umuwi akong walang pasabi. The moment I hugged all of them, my tears fell nonstop.

Narito na ulit ako, nakabalik na sa totoong buhay at hindi na babalik pa sa pansamantalang kaligayahang iyon. That would be missed. I don't know when could I see him again because one thing is for sure, I won't come back. Hinding-hindi na ako babalik pa sa bahay na iyon. Sa buhay na iyon.

Kahit pa gusto ko siyang makita at makasama.

"Hindi mo sinabing uuwi ka! Ayos lang kami rito, Pristine! Hindi ka na pababalikin ni Mama sa trabaho mo ngayon!" sita sa akin ni Ate.

Ngumiti ako at umiling. "Hindi na rin ako babalik. Dito na ulit ako."

"Tapos na ang trabaho mo? O pinaalis ka?"

"Tapos na."

Mama cried and hugged me again. I can almost feel her deep relief. Si Papa ay ningitian ako. I can see how happy they are that I am back. I'm happy too... but I know which part is making me lonely.

Pinilit ko ang sariling kalimutan ang kalungkutang iyon. The next days, I volunteered to watch Clarence the whole time in the hospital. Papa's discharge now pero may mine-maintain pa ring check ups kaya si Ate ang nag-aasikaso. Mama is still working but she promised me that she'll resign this week. Sapilitan pa iyon dahil nagalit ako.

I totally changed my number so no one from the Gallardos can contact me anymore. The next days are very peaceful days for me. Walang gulo. Walang pangamba maliban sa sitwasyon ni Clarence, but at least, he's near to his discharge now. And everyday, I get used of it.

Not until today.

Tulog si Papa sa sofa ng kwarto ni Clarence samantalang kumakain naman kami ni Ate Pearl nang matigilan ako sa ibinalita sa TV. Kyla Sacro, a businesswoman and Third's rumored fiancee was interviewed about her current status. She happily confirmed her marriage that shocks the media, and me, as well. The running chairman of Gallardo's company, Jufrithird Gallardo, was confirmed as her groom in their set and near wedding date, which shocked me even more.

Hindi ko na malunok ang kinakain ko pagkatapos marinig ang balita. I was too stunned that I couldn't think properly.

They're... getting married? I refused to check on my phone the past days so I don't know what the hell is already happening! Ikakasal na sila? At malapit na? Kyla was the one who confirmed it herself so it wasn't a bluff! I mean, she's the most professional, composed and classy woman I've ever meet. Hindi siya ang tipong magsisinungaling sa media!

There's no confirmation from Third but Kyla's statement is powerful enough to conclude that it's true! It's really happening! Is this a fixed marriage? Napilitan ba si Third? Alam kong wala silang relasyon dalawa at possibleng ipinilit lang ito ni Mrs. Gallardo pero I don't think Third would disobey his mother! He didn't know that she's cruel to me.

And... I don't think Third will refuse classy and perfect woman like Kyla... just because of a cheap woman like me!

And he's what? Running President? Siya na ang mamamahala sa kompanya ngayon? Did Mr. Gallardo stepped down and finally give him the company after the announcement of wedding? Parang sinasakal ang puso ko sa lahat ng mga naisip.
