I sat down and thought
It puzzled my brain
I admit I was distraught
I'd never be the same
You touched my soul
Made me want to change
I want to fulfil that role
I'd give anything in exchange
Perhaps a few dreams
Nothing big to lose
Even if it means never to be me
I wouldn't mind, that's true
"Please don't go" I wish with grace
It's what's inside my heart
But there it'll hold its place
I never want to be apart
