L'horreur de mon tourment

73 1 1

My passion inaugurates my pain,

My pain, my burden to bear;

Stolen from me my happiness, my joy, my very sunshine

To suppress I dream

I dream of greater times,

Of kings and queens, of castles, of merry making

My eyes open to harsh words and cold stares

My slumber my vacation, my dream my friend

My friends see a cloak

They know not the demons which lie under

My sins unseen by the world

My very essence a lie

I wish to open my eyes to a better tomorrow

Yesterday holds pain

Today cries despair

Tomorrow creates horror
