Natasha held her sister firmly in her arms. They won. She felt Absantine tense slightly before she whispered in her ear "don't move". Natasha panicked. "Abbey, Abbey what's wrong". Her sister didn't answer.

Absantines grip tightened around her twin only furthering the Avengers spiral. "Absantine, let go, let go". There was a moment of silence. Natasha watched the others hug each other a d laugh at their victory. Oblivious to the current situation. Her brief tranquility was broke by a whisper "I'm sorry Natasha".

A shot rang out. Absantine went limp in Natasha's arms. "Abbey, ABBEY" Natasha stumbled forward and lowered her sister's body down to the ground. She looked into her lifeless green eyes. Natasha could feel her lip trembling as the tears threatened to spill from her eyes. "Abbey, Absantine wake up, please, wake up, please wake up". No response. She vaguely registered somebody kneel beside her. Clint probably.

Natasha placed a gentle hand on her sisters shoulder and shook it, the tears began to fall and her voice cracked with pain as she spoke. "I'm sorry Abbey, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry" she let out pained sobs that racked through her body violently.

She felt Clint wrap his arms around her gently and she melted into his touch, soaking his suit with the tears.
