CHAPTER 9

"Jeon we're back" Taehyung shouts after giggling skipping her way to the mansion's entrance. The guards open the door for them. Jimin walking behind her feeling nervous, he knows Jungkook already knew what had happened to the mall

Yoongi descends at the stairs hearing the melodious sound voice of Taehyung, he saw Jimin looking tired beside Tae, put a few shopping bags beside the couch where Taehyung is sitting running a hands in her legs messaging the muscles, she felt the tiredness when she felt the softness of the couch

"How are you my mochi... You look tired, get some rest and freshen up in the room" Yoongi welcome Jimin running a hand in his back, planting kisses in his forehead

"but I think I need to talk to Jeon first" he sits beside Taehyung that's greeting good evening to Yoongi hyung while smiling sweetly. She's obviously tired leaning her back to stretch them

"Why you need to talk to him? He's not yet in here" Yoongi said tapping him in the shoulder telling him to just go and get rest in their room.

" Okay, I'll take a nap then" he stands up climbing the long stairs

" Have you enjoyed your shopping" Yoongi asks Taehyung leaning her back to the couch getting comfortable, her eyes is close but still awake.

" Yeah, I've seen a lot of things and they are wonderful though I have vases and chest back in my place but they are more wonderful here with flowers in it just like you have here" she points out the large vase in the living room with a dozens of red roses in them

" You have vaces and chest? Where did you get that?" Yoongi ask squinting his feline eyes

" From the ship wrecked. They always sink after and they are heavy. Sometimes destroying the corals" she explains

"And there's this one chest my long lost friend gave to me.. he got it from me and told me to keep it. He made sure its water proof so it won't decay for a long time" she described it remembering what it looks like. She still have it in her room in their palace

"who gave it to you? He's not a mermaid like you? do you remember his name?"

" I just call him hyungie.." she smiles as she's trying to remember his face

"he is cute, got a smiles like a bunny, doe big eyes. He has a big brother too like me and......... Oh! His parents are so nice they treat me like their own but..... "

" But what? Is there something wrong? And where are they now? Have you visit them?" Yoongi asks though he got an intuition that he already knows who she is talking about

"How do you know he's not a mermaid like me?" She asks curiously, she didn't mention she had a human friend before

"You said he gave you a waterproof chest. It means he's not living like you underwater. That explains a lot"

"Right.. he's a human boy. I met him when I was young, I got scared of him because he saw me when I'm drying my legs. But eventually I tell him my secret. We always have fun when we were swimming in the ocean. His parents is always on the ship travelling the sea across countries but one unfortunately day happened" she stops, fidgeting her fingers in her lap having second thoughts if she will tell him

The door opens and Jungkook walks in like a mafia boss he is.. his wearing an all black suit, hair in a pony tail, he sits beside Taehyung and the mermaid stares at him with a glossy eyes

"How are you? Are you hurt?" He asks, he holds her hands feeling the coldness in it, she's a little bit shaken up not because of what happened in the mall but the memories all coming back to her now

"I lost him... And his parents, they were killed., I saw how. They're monsters!" She said in a soft voice, tears roll down on her cheeks

Both brothers are listening to her attentively
