THE SOUND OF POUNDING ON HER FRONT door was what woke the blonde up that morning, her hair an absolute mess, clothes crumpled from falling straight into bed after coming home, halfway through trying to change, last night and she obviously didn't sleep well when she saw how messed up her sheets were from her moving around in her unconscious state. For a moment, she had no idea what had actually woken up, thinking it might have been Steve leaving for work, but when she saw that her digital clock was blaring the numbers 12:30 into her brain.

Scaring her out of her half-asleep demeanor was more pounding at her door, this time joined with a voice. A voice she knew all too well.

"Spencer, wake the hell up!"

Maxine Mayfield.

Yawning, she ran a hand through her hair, walking down the corridor of her house and up to the entrance hall, opening the door to find an unlikely pairing. Max and Eleven. Since last year, Eleven had barely said a word to the red-head, still seeming to hold a grudge against her for some unknown reason. Spencer had even tried to question her on it, but El seemed to find every way to change the subject.
