Harry and I set up the tent, because Hermione was too busy doing her protective enchantments, Ron couldn't even apparate now, because of his splinched arm.
After the night we just had, we all were planning to destroy the locket as dawn came along.
And it did, so then we got changed and went outside, Harry placed it on a solemn rock.
'You first' Hermione instructs, Harry nods and walks forwards, pointing his wand and firing a spell at it.
We all saw smoke arise from the locket. But all of us were shocked that it did not break. I underestimated it's power.
'I don't understand!' I sighed
I heard a chattering noise, it came from the tiny locket. Hermione didn't hesitate to have her go and incarnated:
'Incendio' she called out
It went up in flames, but to our surprise not even a scratch was on it. It would not stop chattering
Now it was my turn.
'Reducto' I aimed my wand at the locket
The locket flew off the tiny rock and into the meadow of crunchy autumn leaves. I walked closer to see the Locket as it was
'Impossible. Not even a tiny scratch or dent' I look helplessly at the locket.
'How?' Even Hermione looked puzzled
'Diffindo' Harry said angrily, making it jump away even more
He kept on going but nothing happened. So we gave up. He picked up the innocent like Serpent locket and tired it around his neck.
Hermione asked why he is putting it around his neck, but he answers that we have to keep it safe.
Until Ron came and stated making Harry more fuming.
'Seems strange,mate...Dumbledore send you off to find these Horcruxes but doesn't tell you how to find them?Doesn't that bother you?'
'Ron we value your opinion, and you are right. But now isn't the time' I stared at the boy in a sling
'Then when is the time, Ev?' He asked
'Maybe, I don't know tomorrow' I shrugged
'Calm down everyone' Hermione tried to ease the tension
We all headed back to the tent. The Malfoy's were still having their Christmas party in a midst of a war. I was about to fall asleep until Ron switched the radio on. Which gave us brilliant news that a goblin called Gornuk was killed.
The commentator kept breaking up. And I couldn't stand it.
I then after a while went outside. I saw Hermione approach Harry examining him.
'I thought it had stopped, you can't keep letting him in' she says
'He let him in, again?' I looked at a panting Harry
Hermione and I both sat on the floor infront of him.
'Well, any new information?' I asked desperately
'You-know-who has found Gregorovitch' Harry blurted out
That's bad.
'The wandmaker?' Hermione scrunched her face up
'He wants something that Gregorovitch used to have' Harry eyes us both
'Did you see anything else?' I asked
'No.' He replied
'But he wants is desperately, like his life depends on it' Harry said
