★chapter one★

A few years ago

My hands hurts from making pancakes, i
love pancakes but not this types that I'm making at the moment. Pancakes and lot of apple sauce on top of them, Yuck! But I am making them for my daughter whose puppy eyes dragged me into this mess.

Aurora, my daughter loves apple sauce. she could eat it with anything if it tastes good. She begged and used her huge eyes to enchant me into making some for her.

"Pancakes and apple sauce!". She let out a loud squeal before she runs down, her hair from her recent shower.

"Good morning mommy". She cooes, she pulls my arm down to her small frame. I smile when her warm lips touch my face

"Good morning Aurora, Come on have breakfast while I dry your hair". I said, I go upstairs to take a shirt to dry her hair

Aurora has the most beautiful black long and curly hair and I took it upon myself to make sure her hair grows since I can't cut her hair and add it to my own hair. I heard towels are not good for hair and I use a cotton shirt made for only her hair

I walk down the stairs and smiled seeing her huge smile on her face as she eats. It is worth every gag and to see her happy,
"Mommy, that tickles". She cooes, I smile and use the cloth to dry her wet hair.

Her curls begins to form, I dry her hair with a blow dryer and put some product to maintain her hair for the day and put it in half down and half up hair do. I use my hand and wrap a curls on my finger

"Okay, Change your clothes and let's go". I said removing my hand from her curl, I take her plate and put it in the washer as she runs upstairs to change her clothing

"Mommy, Can I wear my din-".

"Aurora those a pyjamas". I yelled back, I remove the plate from the dish washer, I use a dish cloth to dry it and return it to the plate cabinet.

"Change your shirt and not your skirt".

"Okay mommy". She yells backs, she run back downstairs with another fresh shirt I pass her bagpack and grabbed my keys

The drive to her school is one of Aurora's favourite things, She would tell me how she's going to answer questions to gain a star in her name board. Which parent is not going to be proud of the child, I park outside her School gate and help her out of her car seat"Be a good girl, Always be kind, Answer question in class and have a good day at school okay?". I said, it was my mother's anthem that I recite all day

"Okay mommy, Love you". She kisses my cheek and runs inside her school gate. It was so heart warming how her tiny legs runs with excitement for school.

I watch her greet her headmistress and go inside, I enter my car and checked the time. I had three minutes before I'm like o late for the meeting and thank God for no traffic making me arrive early, I look around the coffee shop before smiling as I see the bride waving at me

"Good morning Alice".

She smiles at me warmly"Good morning, I wanted to ask if we could do a large-".

"It's your wedding, You can do whatever you want Alice". I said, She's the nicest client I have ever dealt with and I love it
