Billies Pov

As I'm waking up I'm feeling something lightly kicking my leg so obviously I kicked it back . And now someone's crying ? Am I dreaming still ? Another harsher kick to my stomach woke me up completely and my eyes snapped open . My vision is still blurred but I can see Lavender curled up next to me with one leg pushing me away and her eyes tightly shut . I figured she was just having a bad dream so I gently pushed her leg down and pulled her close to me laying her head against my chest and slowly rocking her and shushing her to calm her down . She whimpered and lightly pushed herself away but quickly calmed down and melted into me . I rubbed her back and felt her pull herself closer to me and burry her face in my chest . I kissed the top of her head and fell back asleep . I was asleep for what felt like two seconds before Lav's loud cries filled the room . I groaned but sat up and pulled her onto my lap and began rocking her to hopefully soothe her back to sleep . I held her head against my chest and repeatedly kissed her forehead but she continued to cry . I searched the bed for her pacifier but since the room was still dark I couldn't find it . I slipped one of my knuckles into her mouth so she could have something to comfort her and I turned on the flashlight on my phone so I could see . I found her pacifier under her pillow and I pulled my knuckle form her mouth and quickly replaced it with her pacifier . She stopped crying and looked up at me tiredly and held onto my shirt . I brushed the loose hairs out of her face and held her cheek while still rocking her so she could fall back asleep . I leaned back against the headboard and laid her on my lap so I could hold her better . Her eyes slowly started closing so I shifted down the bed until I was laying down and moved her body so she was laying on top of me . I pulled the blanket back over us and laid on my side slowly so I could lay her down next to me . She stayed asleep and I got her blankie and laid it in between her arms and kissed her cheek before falling back asleep .

Time skip : next morning

Why am I waking up again ? Loud laughter erupting from outside answered my question . I sat up and rubbed my eyes while looking around the room from where the laughter is coming from and I notice Lavender isn't in bed with my anymore . I got up and went to the sliding window leading out to the balcony and saw her and Derick sitting outside vaping . Horrible horrible children that I've raised . I knocked on the window making my presence known and as soon as Lav saw me she waved with a wide smile and jumped off the chair she was sitting on to open the window

'Lazy old lady do you know how late it is ?'

'Tiny adult lady do you know that you woke me up in the middle of the night ?'

She looked at me for a while and scratched the back of her head with a small smirk on her face

'I do not recall that happing . Go brush your teeth'

She blew smoke in my face and closed the door before I could respond . I rolled my eyes at her but turned around and went to the bathroom . I brushed my teeth good since Lav hurt my feelings and I put my hair in a low ponytail. I went back in the room and saw Lav and Derick sitting on the bed watching tv still smoking . Who raised these horrible children . I sat on the bed in between them and Lav laid her head in my lap still facing the tv . I leaned against the headboard and stroked her hair while watching tv . Of course they were watching their creepy murder shows . I feel like they're planning a murder . I looked down at Lavender and she looked up at me with a straight face and threw up the peace sign . She could never pull off a murder . Derick on the other hand....

'Watcha thinkin about lady'

I held her face in my hands and rubbed my thumbs along her cheekbones making her smile . I smiled back and shook my head saying it was nothing and she nodded but continued looking up at me . I brought her head up so I could kiss her forehead and laid her head back on my lap and she went back to watching tv . We all stayed there watching tv for an hour before I noticed Lav had fallen asleep on my lap . I know that if she sleeps now she's not gonna want to go to sleep tonight and it's gonna throw off her whole sleep schedule . But she looks so peaceful . But she's gonna be grumpy tomorrow . But she'll be grumpy now if I wake her up . But I don't want to mess up her sleep schedule . I pulled her up so she was sitting on my lap and started bouncing her up and down to wake her up gently . She immediately started whining and grunting and lightly hit my shoulders trying to get me to stop . She leaned forward to lay her head on my shoulder and I stood up still carrying her to walk around the room bouncing to hopefully wake her up more. She started crying and tried to get out of my arms so I went back to the bed so she wouldn't fall on the floor . I laid her on the bed next to Derick and watched her wail and kick her legs almost kicking Derick . He quickly stood up and went around the bed to stand next to me and we both watched Lavender throwing a tantrum still laying on the bed with her eyes tightly closed . I thought about what to do before asking Derick to prepare a bottle for her and sat on the bed and pulled her over to sit sideways on my lap . I held her arms against her body so she wouldn't accidentally hit me and started rocking her to calm her down . She had stopped kicking her legs but continued crying keeping her eyes closed .  I reached onto her bedside table to get her pacifier and slipped it into her mouth to quiet her down . She opened her eyes to look up at me sucking her pacifier and small tears still falling from her eyes . I feel horrible about having to wake her up but she needs to sleep at night . I smiled at her and squeezed her cheeks lightly and kissed her forehead and then her pacifier . She sighed and laid her head against my chest . Derick gave me the bottle and I pulled the pacifier out of her mouth and replaced it with the bottle . Usually if I want to calm her down giving her a bottle will do the trick and she only falls asleep with a warm bottle so she isn't going to fall asleep if she has cold milk . Derick laid her blankie over my shoulder and Lavender quickly pulled it down and grasped it tightly in her fist making Derick and I laugh slightly but stopped when she started fussing . I rubbed her tummy to get her to calm back down and she sighed and continued drinking from her bottle tightly clutching her blankie . I watched her trying to snuggle herself further in my arms and noticed the goosebumps covering her arms . I brought her hands up to hold the bottle and quickly pulled the big blanket over and swaddled her in it before taking the bottle and pushing her arms down so they were under the blanket . I held onto her tighter and continued feeding her what was left in the bottle . Once she finished it I put the bottle on the bed next to us and brought her over my shoulder to burp her while still keeping her swaddled tightly in the blanket . When I laid her back down she was smiling and giggling clearly in a smaller headspace . I squeezed her tightly making her giggle loudly and tried to squirm around but since she was tightly swaddled she couldn't move too much . I leaned down to lightly kiss her forehead and sat back up to lean against the headboard still staring down at her smiling
