Chapter 15

y/n's P.O.V

Your timer quickly dwindled down to 15 minutes when you finally called Cat back in and made your decision. You were going to kill Spencer. You were going to kill your father. Cat and Lindsey put your blindfold back on and walked you to the room where you presumed Spencer was, they handed you a large knife and Cat said she'll be watching from the cameras

"If you make the death too quick I kill Emily," she said as she untied your hands and removed your blindfold.

You just stood there silent. How quick would be too quick? Did she want me to torture this man, my father?

"Do you understand me y/n? No quick kill." she glared at you waiting for a response

"Yes ma'am" you responded between tears.

You barely knew this man but you felt more connected to him than your own mother. Emily would never forgive you if you did this, but you're doing it to save her, hating you and being alive is still better than her being dead. She will understand, you told yourself, then you entered the room.

"Cat? What game is it this time? Please I'll play fair just let Emily and y/n go." Spencer said in a calm voice but you knew he was scared, how wouldn't he be.

"There is no game dad." you said between tears as you removed Spencer's blindfold.

"y/n..." he said as he looked up at you wide eyed with tears welling up

"Dad..." you responded back with the same expression

Spencer looked down and noticed the knife in your hands.

"It's me or Emily isn't it?" he asked, his voice shaking

You stayed silent

"y/n." he asked

"Yes. i'm sorry." you said as you began to break down

"Y/n I'm not mad. I would rather it be me then Emily. I need you to look at me y/n" he said as tears began to roll down his cheeks, you reluctantly did as he asked

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I really wish I would've been and I understand that's a shitty excuse but it's what I have right now. You are a strong woman and I know what Cat has done to you and what she has made you do and I want you to know I know that you are not that person."

"I am that person though. I killed six people all because I felt like my life was more important and in trying to make that right and give myself up I'm forced to kill one more." you said in between sobs

"Y/n this is not your fault. Anyone would've done the same thing, we all would do anything to save our own life, she coerced you and forced you. I need you to believe me when I say you are not that person. You are a strong, Loving,Beautiful, Caring young woman who was manipulated by someone you thought you could trust. I promise you what Cat did to you does not make you anything like her."

After he finished talking you began to sob, this man has known you for less then a week and he is already treating you more like his daughter then Cat ever did, and now you have to kill him, you kneel on the floor in front of him and sob until cat comes over a speaker

"Hurry up and stab him already or I kill the bitch next door" Cat said, sounding very clearly annoyed.

"Y/n stab me." Spencer said to you in a pleading tone

"Save Emily and stab me."

"I cant!"

"You can. Pick up the knife and do it. I'm begging you." Spencer looked at you his eyes wide with fear
