"When was the last time you heard from Dani, Justin? At all," My mother's worried voice carries through the phone as I rub my face before taking a sip of my coffee. I lean back in the chair, pulling on my table as I think,

"She um, no, uhhhh, oh!," Chelsea jumps over in front of me, waving and nodding. I raise my eyebrow and she gestures like there's a phone to her ear, making me raise and tighten my eyebrows. Finally I remember the panicked phone call from last night, leaning forward to speak immediately, "Yeah, mom, she did. She called me last night, sorry, I just for-"

"I get the idea, you were drinking, I can practically hear the hangover," I chuckle as my mom speaks, taking the time to process through my jumbled memories and find my sister's phone call, "I need to know what she said, Justin, now," I stutter a bit more before Chelsea just takes the phone out of my hand and starts speaking rapidly. I guess it's safe to assume she could hear what my mom was saying. And that she was less drunk last night. I watch and listen to her talk, gesturing, as I suddenly recall the entire phone call.

-

"JC? JC? A-Are you th-" I stumble through the door, leaving my own party as I notice Chelsea follow me outside with her arms crossed, clearly curious enough about the random phone call from my little sister to deal with how cold it is in February, especially since she is the closest to sober on this property. I wrap my arm around her to pull her into me, but try to angle the phone so Dani will be able to hear me over the noise of the party. I hear her nervous stutter explode through the phone, cutting her off to answer,

"Yeah, yeah, Ella! Yes, I'm here, what the hell is so important at- At 4 am? Isn't it like 6 or 7 there?" I snap, making Chelsea slap my arm lightly, as I roll my eyes and listen to my sister with a small smile on my face, watching Chelsea, probably overly interested in her rather than the phone because I'm drunk,

"I, I um, I'm sorry if I woke you up," She apologizes and I shake my head, making Chelsea laugh when I realize Dani can't see me,

"Nah, I'm partying tonight baby, the Rams won!" I shout, hearing a few people cheer who are within earshot, knowing I know next to nothing about sports in reality, making me laugh. I hear her breathing heavy and I feel my brain hurt as I try to decide if I should be concerned, "Why are you calling, Daniella?"

"I'm um just, on, on my way to class y'know, and I'm sorry to bother you, I just really need you to answer a question for me, I need to know," I raise my eyebrows, nodding again before answer,

"Go ahead Dani, I'm-" I get distracted by Oscar and Dyl throwing Wyl out the door, all three of them laughing about something, "I'm listening," I say, laughing at the boys a little. Chelsea looks at me, a confused look on her face and I shrug, not knowing what Dani is going to ask either,

"Y'know how the fans have never known about me, and I like it that way, and it's kept me safe and I've been able to just kind of grow up and not have people looking at everything I've ever posted or say, or get stopped or any of it," I listen to her ramble, my head almost getting dizzy as I listen in my just over tipsy state. Chelsea's eyebrows raise and so do mine, so as she takes a breath I interrupt,

"Yes, yes, I'm aware, Dani," My voice comes out really impatient, so I sigh, continuing, "What is your question, because why are you worried about this on, on a Monday morning before your- absurdly early ass- class?" She takes in a really shaken breath,
