"I'm sure she'll be okay, right, like they'll figure it all out? Whatever it is?" Crawford asks, nervously, pacing back and forth across JC's room, the rest of us on the couch with Chelsea. Oscar stands up, shaking his head and biting his thumbnail,

"No dipshit, she's not! She called JC asking if our fans are going to murder her," He yells, throwing his arms in the air. I swallow, sinking back into the couch as I watch Will lean his elbows on the couch and his face in his hands.

"Guys, you all need to just calm down okay, JC is talking to his mom, and they know her better than any of us, right?" She looks at each of us intently, waiting for us to nod to continue. Oscar groans, leaning forward on his arms against the wall, but nonetheless he nods along with the rest of us, and Chelsea starts talking again, "No one has even talked to her yet, and we don't even know what's actually happening. JC will figure it out." She gets up with a sad smile, and walks out, her head down as she hugs herself.

"Why would something bad happen to her, we're all so careful and so is she." Will says, still not lifting his face, "Why would she be, like, terrified of that when it won't happen?" I sigh,

"I don't know man, I don't." I shake my head, rubbing my face with my hand,

"It's stupid that's what it is." Oscar outbursts and my eyes widen as I see Crawford snap towards him and Will's head shoots up,

"Bro you better no-" Will starts quietly, shaking his head, but Oscar shakes his hands back and forth in front of him,

"Nah, nah, nah, no, that's not what I mean and you know it, I mean it's stupid that the first time we hear anything about her since last summer is that she's mentally fucking ill. And thinking she's gonna die or some shit. It's bullshit, that's what it is." He shakes his head, biting his top lip,

"Yo, when was the last time y'all talked to her?" I asked, knowing everyone else is closer with her than me. Will shakes his head, answering first,

"Damn, probably whenever she was last here, I don't even know. That sucks, we're close I've just been busy and she's in college, y'know," I nod, before shaking my head sadly in agreement, looking at Crawford, but Oscar answers first,

"Why do we call her our friend and then she maybe gets a text from us or two if she isn't here," Oscar seethes, clearly beating himself up. We all look down, but when I look up I see Crawford biting his lip, intently staring out the door,

"Crawf?" I call, and he barely acknowledges me, "Whatcha thinking bud?" He's silent for a few seconds before looking directly at me,

"I talked to her a few weeks ago," He says and we all raise our eyebrows, looking between us,

"When? And you didn't tell us bro?" Oscar asks and Crawford shakes his head,

"Nah, nah, it wasn't like that. I was over and Nezza was gonna ask her opinion on... I don't even know now, and then she was like crying and shit and we were actually pretty worried. She said it was over a stupid fight with someone, and not to tell JC because it didn't matter, so we just didn't think anything of it. Damn if she wasn't doing well and we only called her for like no reason..." He swallows, shaking his head and walking out. We all just look at each other, Will waits a few minutes, thinking, before getting up and following him. I sigh, shaking my head.
