Chapter 13

in the shimmering of the night stars (y/n) was in the middle of grooming his tails making sure they were well kept, as the only sound was heard was the fire next to him cracking against the wood, and when he finished he went to put himself to bed when suddenly the sound of glass shattering was heard, he immediately turned around and saw his window cracked with a hole through it, he then looked across the room and found a knife stuck inside of the wall with a small brown paper attached.

"What's this?" He asked himself while pulling out the knife and unfolding the paper

As he read each sentence his face became paler and paler until he gripped the paper crumbling it

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, OH SHIT!" He shouted

(Y/n) walked outside with heavy breathing looking everywhere but only being blinded by the darkness of the night
He slammed the side of his fist into the wall and cursed under his breath

"Sooner than I had expected heh"

Early in the morning (y/n) ran into the city and rushed across the sidewalks running past civilians, even catching the attention of many heroes

"Bad bad bad this is bad!" He quoted while running and spasticity looking everywhere before leaping to the rooftops of buildings and even kicking a cat off a roof
As he continued he stopped for a brief moment and fell on his knees panting for air to fill his lungs then out of the blue in a burst of air a white dragon landed near (y/n)

"This can't be good" muttered (y/n) as he lowered himself into an elegant stance
Unexpectedly the dragon suddenly morphed in size down into a human which (y/n) raised a brow

"Ahh finally caught up to you" they announced

(Y/n)'s eyes almost popped out of his head as he recognized the person in front of him was Ryuko, Rumi's friend

Trying to keep his cool (y/n) shook his head and stood up straight putting down his guard
"You've been causing a muck all across the city what's your deal?" She asked while placing her hands on her hips.
(Y/n) inspected her up and down while holding his chin then walked around her further before finally turning his attention away and beginning to talk to himself

"Idontknowifthiswillworkmaybeishouldjustgofind
Rumiihaveabetterchanceofsurvivalifshestherebutitstoolateforthatineedsomeonenow" he muttered

Ryuko was fed up with being ignored at this point to where she started to pout
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" She shouted

(Y/n) turned his head then sighed saying
"You'll do..."

"Huh?"

Suddenly (y/n) grabbed Ryuko and placed her on his shoulder holding her backside with one arm as he then ran from building to building back towards the forest.
Then upon arriving back at his home (y/n) released Ryuko from his grasp and set her down as she was also shouting in a frustrating matter while swinging her arms up me down her body, (y/n) placed a hand on her shoulder and said
"This is important so I need you to go along with whatever happens alright" his tone shifting into a more serious one

"What are you talking about? I'm not just some hero you can kidnap and force to do whatever you want, I don't know what you and Rumi do when you're both together but I won't be a part of it I WO-
Before Ryuko could've finished her sentence (y/n) placed his forehead onto hers and closed his eyes as his ears fell

"Please...please, I need your help and once it's over I-I'll do anything you tell me to do for a whole day..."

Ryuko looked at (y/n) and patted his head while sighing
"You're more like a pup than you are a fox you know that, I don't know how Rumi stands for you"
