Episode 2: CRUNCH TIME

ACT ONE

INT.  DAVIS HOUSE - KENTS BEDROOM - MORNING

Kent's sits on his bed watching Taylor pace back and forth still confused about the information he dropped.

TAYLOR-Okay run this by me again...

KENT-All my life my Dad told me my mom died giving birth to me.  He would never tell anything else.  It just never made sense to me so I started digging and I found this in some old box in the basement.

He holds a yearbook from Lynview High School in the 80s.

TAYLOR -Why would your Dad have a Lynview High yearbook?

KENT-My Dad lived in jew town, a few blocks away from Lynview. I think he dated a girl that went to school there. I think whoever that girl was is my mom.

TAYLOR-And you think that's Kelly?

KENT-You should of seen the way she hugged me after school the other day, and she told me I grew up so handsome.

Taylor sits on the bed next to him.

TAYLOR -Well we know she's lying about that.

She smirks at him.

KENT- I was handsome enough for you to kiss the other night.

Kent gives her a look with a slight grin.

TAYLOR- what are you staring at?

KENT- seeing you in my room, sitting on my bed. It's a nice view.

Taylor rolls her eyes.

TAYLOR- (rolling her eyes) can you please be serious for one second?

KENT- I am being serious.

Taylor begins flipping through pages in the year book.

TAYLOR- whatever, look we need to find a way to get info from Kelly.

Taylor reaches a page in the year and pauses.

TAYLOR- Kent....

KENT- yeah?

TAYLOR- Isn't this your Dad?

REVEAL: a black and white photo of a 80s prom with teenagers dancing, standing against the wall you can see a smiling young Garret Davis talking to a woman who we can only see the back of.

Kent moves closer to her on the bed and stares at the photo.

KENT- oh shit.

The bell just rang as first period ends, students begin to exit class everyone except Neal who is still sitting at his desk going over his work.
