Was planned to manage his family's estate,

But his people rose up for their freedom,

His leg he offered, they did not sedate,

To serve God, he did not even need'em:

In the West he continued his studies,

Science had failed him so next he'd try art,

Found a talent for painting, how lucky,

But the fame did not satisfy his heart:

For he had finally answered God's call,

Though his journey would not be the smoothest,

Jesuits, Carmelites, he tried them all,

But the Fransicans would be his truest:
___________________________
You spent your life doing so many things,

Perhaps one day, I'll find my pair of wings
