It was a cool Monday afternoon when Y/n found himself playing with his robotic puppy. When his mother walked in, his eyes lit up with joy and his puppy wagged its metal tail in excitement.
"Alright, Y/n. Mommy will be a little busy with classes."
Y/n looks down at the floor in sadness saying, "okay."
"But don't worry, I know someone who will take care of you for today."
Y/n's face lit up with a bright smile. Glynda led her son to team RWBY's dorm room and looked down to see her son bouncing with excitement. She smiled and turned to the door before knocking.
Unsurprisingly, Ruby opened the door wearing a pair of pink kitten pajamas and a black tank top.
"Good morning, Miss Rose."
"H-Hi, Miss Goodwitch!" Ruby said, waking up instantly.
"I see you were up for quite a while."
"I'm trying to take my studying seriously."
"I can see that. It's good that you're trying your best."
"Thank for noticing, hehe. Also, I have to ask. What are you doing up this early?"
"It is almost noon."
An expression of dread appeared on Ruby's face.
"Anyway, I came to ask you if you could watch my son, Y/n."
Ruby turned to Y/n who shyly hid behind his mother's legs.
"Hi, little guy. I'm Ruby. What's your name?"
Y/n looked up to his mother gave him a reassuring nod. Turning to Ruby, Y/n slowly came out from his hiding spot and shook Ruby's hand.
"H-Hi, I-I'm Y/n," said, introducing himself with a blushed.
"It's nice to meet you."
Y/n blushed a dark red at what he thought was a compliment.
