It had been several thousand years since your time in Mycea. You had moved again and again, following the travels of the Deviants. Ajak led you all there to destroy them, but your reason for going was much different. You hoped to make contact with the deviant that spoke to you, you hoped to learn more answers from him, even at the cost of everything else. Of course no one knew this, several times you wanted to talk to Druig or Thena about it, but you were so afraid they would try to stop you, so you never did.

You now remained in Troy, the center of trade in the Mediterranean. Priam, the King, welcomed you into his city, giving you places to stay in the palace and treating you as gods sent to protect his home.

It was easy to protect the people of the city from the deviants, there were natural walls and the desert was flat enough to see them coming from far away. However, what proved more difficult, was protecting the humans from themselves, and from invaders.
