You were training in one of the massive courtyards just at dawn when Ikaris came up to you, placing a hand on your hips, breaking your concentration.

"Up early, are we?" he asked.

You spun around, breaking his hold on you and standing with your bow staff between you, "you have some nerve coming to talk to me after all this time."

"I was giving you space to process," he replied, trying to come closer, "I figured a few years is only a blink in the life of an eternal."

You took another step back, "I have not forgotten, and I will not forgive."

Ikaris continued to step closer to you, "Ajak was merely making a point. The prince's death was necessary, and the Greeks would have won the war anyway, especially if you broke the rules of the duel."

"A point you were willing to betray me to make," you answered, anger rising inside you.

"It doesn't matter, (Y/N)," Ikaris said, "you can't change the past, it's time to move on."

You pulled your bow staff back into an offensive position, "how about I avenge his death, by taking your life?"

Ikaris looked surprised, "and what would that accomplish?"

You smiled in ruthless anger, "probably nothing, but it would feel good." You charged him, swinging your bow staff repeatedly, watching it slam into his arms as he tried to block the attack. You spun again, crashing into him, pushing his body back several feet before rushing him again, giving him no time to recover.

By now, a small crowd had gathered in the courtyard, including Ajak, Thena, Makkari and Druig. "What is going on?" Ajak exasperated as she took in the sight before her.

Druig chuckled, "(Y/N), is finally kicking Ikaris's ass."

Ajak rolled her eyes and walked towards both of you, locked in combat. "Enough of this!" she shouted trying to separate you. Seeing Ajak refueled your fire, you turned, using the air to sweep her up, and then used it to push her into a pillar several feet away.

"I should kill you too," you shouted, using your powers to keep her pinned as you walked closer, "for what you did. We would all be better off without you."

Druig, Thena and Makkari all looked at each other from the side of the courtyard, watching it transpire. "I didn't know she had grown this powerful," Thena muttered under her breath.

"No one is supposed to be able to overpower Ajak," Makkari signed.

Druig looked deep in thought, "this must be what the deviant was talking about back in Mesopotamia, it said she had potential to carry power beyond measure."

Ikaris came up behind you, breaking your concentration so Ajak fell to the ground. You quickly turned your power onto him. You reached out with your power, pulling rocky debris from the courtyard and watching it collide with Ikaris's frame until he dropped to a knee from exhaustion.

You didn't even hesitate, you rushed him, planting several punches and kicks to his frame, never giving him a moment to breathe. Finally you used the air to quicken a kick straight to his chest, knocking him back several feet and landing in a heap next to Ajak.

You approached them, both heaving for air on the ground as you stood above them. You whipped your daggers from your side, "you won't be able to make the same mistakes again."

"Uh oh," Druig said, watching you pull out your daggers.

"She can't do this here," Makkari signed, "she won't be able to come back from this."

Thena jumped into action, running to stand between you and Ikaris and Ajak. "You don't want to do this, hun," Thena said, trying to get you to look at her.

"Get out of my way, Thena," you growled looking around her at Ikaris and Ajak.

Thena didn't move, "I trusted them, loved them even!" you shouted, "they never agreed with me, but it wasn't Hector's fault, it wasn't the people of Troy's fault! They betrayed me, and I will not forget it."

"Killing them won't bring Hector back, it won't change anything," Thena urged you to listen, "you won't be able to come back from this, you would become them."

Tears stung your eyes as her words sunk in and you sheathed your daggers again. Thena smiled at you, but you shook your head, "the (Y/N) you knew, she's gone now."

You stormed out of the courtyard, your friends following close behind you, concern on all of their faces.

Ajak knelt next to Ikaris as he sat up on the ground. "She is growing too powerful," she whispered.

Ikaris nodded as Ajak helped him stand, "you made her this way, whatever she has become is your fault. I am starting to think there is no (Y/N) left."

Ajak looked taken aback, "keeping her in line was important to our mission."

Ikaris shook his head, "but you didn't keep her in line did you? You made her fueled by anger and pain, and now she is more powerful than any of us."

Ajak looked towards the hallway that you had disappeared through, "then we must break her spirit, break her will to be better."

Ikaris scoffed, "how do you plan to do that? You tried killing her friend, and see how well that worked out."

Ajak looked on in deep concentration, "we tell her the truth."
