Shattered

One week before

Chapa woke up to her alarm blaring in her ear telling her to wake up. She tried to put the sound on snooze but after 3 failed attempts at it, she decided to get up. Chapa looked at the time which read 5:45. she usually got up at 6 since she had the be at S.W.A.G by 7:45 but this morning she needed to take a shower. She grabbed the pare of clothes she had set out the night before which was just a black shirt with a red plaid sleeve cut jacket and black jeans, she then went to the bathroom she and her sister Sage shared.

After takings a shower she got dressed she looked at herself in the mirror as she brushed her wet short brown/red-dyed hair. When she finished brushing her hair she smiled at herself "I look good" she said to nobody in particular. She then went back to her room and looked at the time 5:55 Chapa then grabbed the mascara sitting on her desk and lightly put some on.

She did one final check in the mirror than left her room and went down the hall to her sister's room to wake her up. When she went into Sage's room she turned on her lights and saw Sage sleeping in her pink bed. It was always hard for Chapa to wake Sage up in the morning because she looked so adorable, she heard Sage groan from the lights being turned on "5 more minutes" Sage mumbled, "No mom and dad had an early meeting and already went to work and your bus is gonna be here in an hour" Chapa said pulling off the covers Sage had over her head "I'm gonna go make breakfast, get dressed" Sage groaned as she got up "fine ill be down in a minute" Chapa smiled at her little sister as she left her room.

When she got to the kitchen and opened the fridge she pulled out a carton of eggs to make scrambled egg sandwiches, as she finished cooking she saw her sister come down in a tie-dye hoodie and jeans.

"What did you make?" Sage asked sitting at the table, Chapa quickly grabbed a chef hat and a fake brown mustache, "on today's menu of Chapa's chopped foods I have decided to make a beautiful well crafted meal that consisted of eggs and bread put together to make two nicely cooked egg sandwiches one of my favorite dishes to make on a stupidly bright morning such as this one" she finished in an Italian accent as she put the sandwiches, coffee for her and water for Sage down on the table. Sage chucked at her older sister's act.

As they ate breakfast Chapa got a text from her newly found iPhone

Bose🌩: I got my step dads car do u wanna ride to the nest?
Chapa🔥: sure
Bose:🌩: ok I'll pick u up in 20 minutes
Chapa🔥:👍 thanks

"Did mom and dad give you lunch money or pack you a lunch?" Chapa asked as she went over to the sink to wash her plate, "ya they gave me some lunch money to put in my lunch account" Sage answered doing the same. "ok good" Chapa smiled.

Her phone then went off, and she got a text from Bose saying he was in her driveway " my rides here your bus will probably be here in a minute so text me when you get on it see ya" Chapa hugged her sister, and grabbed the coffee she made, left.

When she walked out she saw a blue Lamborghini sitting out front with Bose in the driver's seat. When Bose and her made eye contact they instantly smiled at each other, Chapa quickly went to the car and got into the passenger seat.

"You got coffee?" Bose instantly asked " wow that is the first thing you say not hello Chapa good morning how are you," She said looking at Bose who was pulling out of her driveway. "I'm just saying giving you coffee is like feeding a gremlin after midnight. plus you don't like it when somebody says 'good morning' " Chapa just rolled her eyes and sipped her coffee " it only has 4 shots of espresso in it so haha last week it was 5."
Bose tapped his hand on the wheel as a way to clap, "congratulations but your still a caffeine addict"
"Hey I could be addicted to worse" Chapa exclaimed as she turned on some music.
"Plus if I didn't have this I would be sleeping during Rays boring old man lectures!"
"Those can put people to sleep" Bose agreed .

They both sat a listened to the music for a bit until Chapa spoke up "oh can we stop at the donut shop"
"Is it to get donuts or get more coffee"
Chapa tapped her now empty coffee cup a few times before answering "I ran out of coffee"
Bose chuckled " fine but you are explaining to Ray why were late" Chapa nodded. "Also you're buying me a donut for the free transportation" Chapa simply smiled as they pulled into the donut shop parking lot, "also your only getting 1 shot of expresso this time," Bose said as they left the car.

Time skip 

"I can't believe you got 1 shot and 4 packets of sugar," Bose said as they walked into Ray's classroom "hey you said one shot of espresso you said nothing about sugar," Chapa said walking in behind him holding a box of donuts. "You're late," Ray said sitting Infront of the classroom "Ya because somebody," Bose said looking over at Chapa " Just had to stop at Joe Joe's donuts and get MORE! coffee" Chapa just sat in her seat dinking her coffee "How much coffee have you had today?" Mika asked, "this is only my second one" Chapa answered as she opened the box of 7 donuts "Plus I bought donuts for everybody," She said as she took out a Glazed donut. Everybody immediately got out of their seats to grab one.  

"OOKKKk when everybody is eating their donut you guys get to listen to one of my amazing lectures" Ray stated there was a collective groan among the 4 sidekicks, "what this is a very important lecture now listen up" Ray then turned on the projector "umm can somebody help me I can't seem to find the slide show" Everybody rolled their eyes, "everyday man come on" Miles complained. "here Ray ill help," Mika said as she went up to his computer, she stared at it for a second "um Ray why do you have a folder in here titled 'Hot moms'?" Everybody gave Ray a confused looked "haha umm that shouldn't be there" he stated "just find the slid show" He whispered "it's right there" Mika said pointing to the tab that said 'very important slide show' "oh ya, nevermind everybody I found it since I'm y'know so awesome I didn't even need help." 

Mika just rolled her eyes and went back to her desk "isn't that why you have sidekicks" Miles asked "ya your old man bones couldn't handle all that fighting" Bose added, there was a collective laugh amount the students again, "ok ok anyway everybody this is probably one of the most important lectures I have ever given you to pay attention" Ray looked around a say Chapa had already put her head down and was now sleeping. Ray quickly went ever to her and slammed his hand on her desk causing her to wake up "CHAPA" Ray yelled, Chapa immediately lifted her head and yawned "m what sorry you got boring so I fell asleep" she gave a fake little smile. "pay attention, this is very important" Ray said going back to the bored "ok ok get on with it" Miles said, "ok today I will be teaching you guys" Ray turned turned on the first slide which had a lot of pictures of him on it. "Why I the Amazing Captain Man is the best hero and Teacher Swellview has ever seen!" 

There was a collective groan from the students, 'Yup this is gonna be a long day '  Chapa thought as she put her head down again.
