Chapter 13

After around 3 hours of me and Yuri messing about with shit, namely truth or dare and other stupid things, we decided to go to sleep. Afterall, we can't be too late to the festival, can we? And all in all, I think we did pretty well...

And the truth or dare games were fun.... It was hilarious to hear Yuri shouting a swear word.... And reading from 50 shades of grey... and I'll admit, the group chat 'confession' was pretty funny... and I'd say that this sleepover is a success!

I'm glad I got to bond with Yuri...

I'm just sorry for everything....

I hope I can make it up to you...

I close my eyes sighing.

I hope I did well in my biology test...
( AN- the biology test is more important than you think... and that's not just Monika's ( and my ) obsession with good grades... let's just call it the 'domino effect'... but I can't give too much away! )

Yoshi pushes a girl against the wall, eyeing her almost hungrily.

"Let... let me go, Yoshi... please..."

The girl stammers.

"Nono.... You're too pretty... come to daddy, little girl"

He pervertedly strokes her cheek.

"Get off me!"

The girl tries to push him off but he cuts her off with a kiss.

Ugh... he looks like he's eating her up...

"Mff! S-stop!"

I hear a voice.

"Yoshiiiiiiii~cmon! You have so many other girls... why'd you pick the freak?"

I turn.

It's Aoi.

But then that means that the girl is...

None other than Yuri herself...

"Help... please...Monika.."

I wake up in a cold sweat.

Yuri.... Where is she???

Oh yeah... I let her sleep on the couch...

Even as I reassure myself, I feel a deep pit of dread form in my stomach.

Surely I dreamt this by coincidence? It must be...

Only my mind could make up something so twisted...

Agh. Fuck, I'm thirsty...

I grab my phone for a flashlight and head downstairs for my water.

I make my way quietly through the area where Yuri is sleeping and into the kitchen, grabbing some water.

Then, I make my way back to where Yuri is sleeping.

I wonder what she looks like when she's asleep...

What? Why would I care?

But my body moves of it's own accord towards Yuri.

Feeling slightly apprehensive, I shine my flashlight in her face.

No shit....

I feel all the air leave me as I gaze, stunned, at this beauty.

She looks so peaceful.... With her eyelids fluttering, her cheeks accentuated by the moonlight; smooth-looking and so perfect, her hair splayed out on the pillow behind her, and her soft, plump lips... making regular breathing patterns...
