"Hey Will? Can I talk to you about something?" You ask walking into Wills bedroom and taking a seat next to him on his bed.
He smiles seeing the sight of his newly-made best friend in his room. "Oh hey Y/n, what's up?" he asks looking at you slightly concerned
"I've uhhh I've kind of liked you for a while.... You know like more than friends" you say rubbing your hands over your thighs nervously
Will looks at you with a tiny hint of pity and surprise.
"Oh um...listen Y/n I don't really like you..in that way." Another long pause "I'm sorry" he says rubbing the back of his neck sadly
You look at Will with a small hopeful smile "Hey Will it's ok, no need to apologize. You don't have to like me"
Will looks back at your with a smile but then it fades quickly
"Actually y/n, since you've been such a great friend to me...I really trust you with what I'm about to say."
You look at Will confused and intrigued
"What is it Will? You can tell me" You say scooching a bit closer to will and putting your hand on top of his.
"I... I'm gay......" He says slowly as his eyes start watering
You quickly pull him into a hug and he places his face into the crook of your neck as you feel wet tears on your shoulder
"You know that you're one of my best friends, I could never look at you differently" you say rubbing his back in an attempt of comfort
He gives you one more tight embrace and then pulling away smiling wiping the tears from his face
"Thanks for this...being here for me" He says while holding your hand tightly
"Of course Will, I'm always here for you"
