"Your waffles are ready, honey." mom says and sneezes on them.

"You know what, I'll just have a banana." dad says and grabs a banana.

"Come on. It's still good." mom says and sneezes on it again.

"Is it really?" I ask.

"I'm so sorry. I think I'm coming down with a cold." mom says.

"Morning, guys." Phoebe says and farts.

"Phoebe." Max says.

"That wasn't me." she says and farts again.

"Okay now you're just gross." Max says.

"I told you it wasn't--" Phoebe says and cuts herself off when she pulls out her phone.

"Max, did you change my ringtone?" Phoebe asks.

"Dang it! I was so gonna do that." I say.

"I upgraded your smartphone to a fartphone. You can thank me later." Max says.

"How about I thank you now?" Phoebe says and throws dads banana at max with her powers.

"Why must you people ruin my breakfast?" dad asks and i conjure some food and give it to dad.

"Thank you favorite child." he says emphasizing the favorite part.

"Honey, who's texting you this early?" mom asks.

"It's probably her weird fruit named friend reminding her it's ditch day. Am I right Phoebe?" I ask my slightly older sister and she tries to use her telekinesis on me but I absorb it and she rolls her eyes.

"Yes it is Cherry. Reminding me about ditch day." she confirms.

"Oh, I loved ditch day. Skipping school, having fun..." dad says and mom clears her throat.

"And then hours of regret, realizing I missed an entire day of learning." dad says.

"Don't worry I'm not gonna let ditch day ruin my lifetime of perfect attendance." Phoebe says.

"Nerd." max coughs.

"I don't know why he coughed during that. You're a nerd." i say.

"Tell me that when I'm at hero university, and you two are still living in our parents' basement, talking to rabbits." Phoebe says.

"Still didn't make you any less of a nerd." i say.

"Max, Liz, you're not planning on ditching school, are you?" mom asks.

"They are. Sorry I coughed during that. they are. A bunch of kids are going skateboarding." Phoebe says.

"And I'm not gonna be a part of that. Not this guy, no way." Max says.

"I have better things to do. I am ditching school just to not hang out with a bunch of skateboarders." I say.

"Do we believe him?" mom asks.

"I choose to. It makes life easier." dad says.

"What about Liz?" mom asks.

"She does take all Honors classes so let her skip if she wants." Dad says and mom sneezes.

"All right, let's get you to bed, before you ruin lunch." dad says and they walk upstairs.

"Really? You're going to school on ditch day?" I ask Max.

"Yeah, right after I paint the house. See ya, nerd." Max says and puts on his helmet and grabs his skateboard.

"Have fun ice skating." Phoebe says.
