back on my bullshit lmfaoo

Grian's P.O.V.

I sighed as I followed my forced companion around the base, watching as he eagerly placed the cactus and talked happily to me about random nonsense. Hes a red name, hes supposed to be scheming, not... this...

"Hey, Grian, do you think we can steal that cookie?"
"Scar."
"Mhm?"

He looked at me happily and I sighed, glancing down at his bare chest.

"Your shirt."
"Ah! Right, right~"

He slipped it back on and I rolled my eyes, then sulked and crossed my arms, refusing to follow him.

It took him a minute, but he finally realized I wasn't behind him and ran up to me, grinning and tilting his head.

"Whats wrong, my feathered friend?"
"Scar, you're supposed to be scheming! Aren't you... feeling weird? Like, at all?"
"Ohh, yeah, I totally am, but! We need to fortify!"
"But-But Scar, we can just... destroy other peoples bases yknow..."
"Mm, that's true. It is on my list. You're a green name still though! You shouldn't be worrying about what silly me is doin, well, besides keepin me alive!"
"Well, yea, but..."

I sighed and sulked, making him smirk a little before turning around.

"I'll hatch a plan soon! Don't you worry!"
"Right, right..."

I followed him again, growing frustrated with his lack of care. If he takes peoples lives, then I have a waaaay higher chance of winning! Or he does! Either way, he should be feeling weird anyways! How is he controlling himself...?

Everyone was logging off for the night, and we both were inside our base. I was quietly organizing my stuff while he played with his sword, twirling it around clumsily, which made me smile a little.

"You're gonna end up taking your own life by accident, Scar."
"Mm, I've got this."
"Uh huh."

He glanced at me, then let out a shaky sigh, his hands beginning to tremor a little.

"What? Whats the matter?"
"Nothing! Nothing's wrong, don't worry about it..."
"... Scar...?"
"Mhm?"
"How are you... controlling your urges...?"

His eyes widened, then he gave me a guilty look before glancing away.

"Scar...?"
"I... I'm not really good at controlling them..."
"But... you're not killing anyone?"
"I... I was barely holding on today... I don't think it'll be so easy next time..."

I frowned a little, then walked up to him, making his eyes grow wide before he shook his head, pushing me away.

"No, no, it's not safe."
"Safe? You wouldn't hurt me~"
"I-I... don't know that, Grian..." He said softly, gripping the table behind him tightly as he backed away from me.

I felt sympathy and a little fear rush in me as I looked at the much taller man, then glanced down and noticed his shirt was off, which was the perfect opportunity to make him smile.

"Scar."
"What...?"
"Your shirt."

His eyes widened, then as expected, a large smile shined on his face as he chuckled, shrugging.

"My bad. Look at my muscles though! Like, aren't they-" He started, not noticing me growing closer.

I placed my hand on his chest and he closed his mouth immediately, his cheeks reddening as he looked down at me. He didn't say anything, but I could tell he was confused. I slowly wrapped my arms around him, hugging him and hoping he'd feel a little better with the comfort.
