I just lay there in my own self pity, not knowing what to freaking do now.

Out loud, I yelled into the universe, "Oh, come on! What was all that for? What did I do to deserve this? Huh, universe!"

And then very softly under my breath, I asked myself, "Am I being punished?"

I wasn't really expecting an answer, but I got one anyway.

There was a gust of wind that would have calmed me down, but I was too stressed out and tired to think about the positives. The only thing that really could calm me down was singing. And so that's what I did. I tried to think of the lyrics inside my head first, and then translated tem out so that no ears could hear them.

I sang my feelings out in the style of a sad, slow song.

  " Ooooh, why am I,

   Feeling every nerve,

In my body and my mind,

Telling me to quickly overturn and burn,

   Everything that has ever been,

Everything that has ever been said,

About how my skills couldn't have put up a fight,

Again and again they have said I'd be dead,

If I were to try and survive,

   Mother Nature's rapture,

Lost out at sea and I've,

Just made a bet with her,

What would happen if I egged her on,

Would she send more sharks to attack,

What would happen if I prayed in this song,

Song of the sea of the ultimate task,

   At hand,

   No land,

   Understand,

Me, as reality is my grasp,

It slapped me in the face,

Like a sick, twisted game of fate,

So I'm going to try and find my way home,

   Oh oh oh,

I will find him, the one who pushed me overboard,

And drag him out of the shadows to the light,

In front of the jury at court, or,

I will bring him up to the ring and fight,

   Because he couldn't handle,

   The scandal,

   He could however try,

   And lie,

   And gaslight,

   The current situation,

   Which created the foundation,

Of this never ending watery jail cell,

And there is no way to tell,

   Which direction is which,

   Ow! Son of a b-!"

My song of a one woman show was interrupted by a seagull literally falling on top of my head.
