Nevaeh pov

I sat with Wanda, "All right, what do you see?" Steve asked.

"Standard beat cops.
Small station.
Quiet street.
It’s a good target." Wanda reported.

"There’s an ATM in the south corner, which means..." I asked.

"Cameras," Wanda replied.

"Both cross streets are one way," Steve added.

"So, compromised escape routes." Wanda sighed.

"Means, our guy doesn't care about being seen; he isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out." Steve explained, "Do you see that Range Rover halfway up the block?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, the red one? It’s cute." Wanda answered.

"It's also bulletproof, which means private security, which means more guns, which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us." Natasha explained.

"You guys know I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda asked.

"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature," I said.

"Anybody ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" Sam asked.

"Not to my face. Why? Did you hear something?" I smiled.

"Eyes on target, folks," Steve ordered. "This is the best lead we've had on Rumlow in six months. I don't want to lose him."

"If he sees us coming, that won't be a problem. He kind of hates us." Sam said, and I could hear him smirking.

"Sam, see that garbage truck? Tag it." Steve ordered.

"That truck’s loaded for max weight.
And the driver’s armed." Sam told us.

"It’s a battering ram." Natasha sighed.

"Go now," Steve ordered, and I put my coffee down.

"What?" Wanda asked.
"He’s not hitting the police," Steve said.

"Body armor, AR-15s. I make seven hostiles." Steve said.
"I make 5." Sam bragged.
Wanda and I arrived and flew over the rooftop and into the courtyard, in order to block the fire.
She took control of one soldier and lifted him upward.
"Sam," Wanda called.
Sam glided down from the rooftop, as he caught the soldier on one of his wings.

"Four."

"Rumlow’s on the third floor," Sam announced.
"Wanda, just like we practiced," Steve ordered.

"What about the gas?" Wanda asked.

"Get it out," I said.

Wanda used her powers to lift Steve up and through the window.
"Rumlow has a biological weapon," Steve announced.

"I’m on it," Natasha said.
"Sam. He's in an AFV heading north." Steve announced.

"I got four, they're splitting up,"Sam said and Wanda sat down exhausted.

"I got the two on the left," Natasha told us and I helped Wanda up.

"They ditched their gear. It's a shell game now. One of them has the payload." Steve said.

"He doesn't have it. I’m empty." Sam said the one he ran after didn't have the bio weapon.

"Payload secure. Thanks, Sam." Natasha thanked Sam.

"Don't thank me."

"I’m… not thanking that thing," Natasha said.

"His name is Redwing," Sam told her.

"I'm still not thanking it."

"He's cute. Go ahead, pet him." Sam said, and I sighed, "Sam, it's not a real bird."

Wanda and were finally close to Steve the problem is that the moment we got there Rumlow activated his bomb vest, Steve flinched as Rumlow's armor ignites, but Wanda kept the blast contained around Rumlow, who grimaces in agony. She lifted him into the air before she lost control, and the explosion blossomed, devastating entire floors of a nearby office building.
I stood there with nothing to do.

"Oh my... Sam... We need... Fire and rescue... on the south side of the building. We have to get up there.
