it's been a little while since my last delivery because life has been hectic but! here we are! two covers for murder ballad. this fic ticks all my boxes, honestly, both as a story and as a graphic project. jason todd, a sexy russian spy and a red and black colour scheme?! (don't even get me started 😭😭 wbk red and black is my photoshop bread and butter) part of the reason i accepted this request is also the summary given in the form! i don't think jason todd is a character capable of healthy romantic relationships (this is something i never shut up about) and to see that portrayed unapologetically (as well as jason as an antagonist!! fuck yeah!!) piqued my interest. i'll definitely be keeping up with this fic.

onto the graphics themselves! i've been in a slump lately, but i'm pretty satisfied with how these two turned out. the first cover was the initial vision but the second is very much inspired by the (breathtaking!) work of numskulls. as far as the title treatment goes, i was hoping for a font with more slavic typographic roots but ended up using a fraktur font instead. if no one else got me i know fratkur fonts got me 😔🤘
