today i finally emerge victorious from my lifelong battle with the colour green. (in terms of graphics, at least.) hi everyone 😊😊 today's graphic delivery is for my dearest anya's bruce banner fic, jack of all trades! this cover was me killing multiple birds with the one stone; i've wanted to make something comic-y for anya for ages, plus i wanted to use green in a cover, plus i wanted to make something using bruce banner resources. i'm pretty proud of this cover—i tried to evoke a more... classic? superhero aesthetic. i took lots of inspiration from 1990s jla covers.

anya's comic faceclaim for her oc was originally donna troy, but i elected to use diana prince instead just for this cover! at some point i'd like to try again using donna, but for now i personally am satisfied with diana. for the text treatment, i began by trying to incorporate the logo that hulk titles actually use, but it didn't work with the art. i then tried using the mcu logo from the original hulk movie, but that didn't work either. ultimately, i ended up macgyver-ing my own version of the title, using the same proportions and positioning—only in a font of my choice. i felt this made things look more cohesive, as well as more zoia-y? if that makes any sense.

as per usual, i went (green eggs and) ham with the colouring. i'm posting three versions here, but i ended up making five or six. we love indecisiveness. anyways. anya, i hope you like this cover!
