Chapter 1: The Industry

"Josh Cullen Santos, better known as Cullen has another issue." Sabi ni Justin sa harap ng table ko. "What is the meaning of this, Santos?"

"Aba malay ko, for your information hindi ako ang nasa video na iyan. I'm innocent, I don't even know who the hell those people are."

"This was shot last night, after you said na pupunta ka sa club." Sagot nito sa akin.

I rolled my eyes then took my phone to show him a picture of what I wore last night and who I was with.

"Kasama ko si Kendra, okay? Kababata ko sa bukid noon." Sagot ko at tinitigan niya si Kendra. "Oh bakit lumiliwanag ang mga mata mo?"

"Wala." Masungit na sagot nito. "Being your manager is so much work. Bakit kasi ang dami mong basher? Pati fans mo gumagawa na din ng gulo."

"Hindi ko na kasalanan na may ganiyang ugali na humahanga sa akin."

Tumayo ako at lalabas na sana kaso pumasok si Stell at hinila ako pabalik sa upuan ko kanina. I crossed my arms then placed my feet on top of the table which Stell quickly pushed off.

I was about to argue when he raised his eyebrows at me. I quickly shut up and sat straight.

Ganiyan katakutan si Stell sa kumpanya na ito, lahat hindi siya kaya. Mabait naman siya pero in times like this nalabas ang kaniyang pagiging strict producer. I never understood why he rejected promotions numerous times.

'Saka na ako tatanggap ng promotion when I decide to settle down.'

Was always his answer, I didn't knew why.

"We are not leaving this room unless the issue dies down."

"Imbecile, do you plan on living here for a week?" Justin said then went outside but then quickly went back in. "Wala namang problema sa akin na dito tayo kahit hanggang next year pa eh."

Napasimangot ako, it meant nasa labas na naman ang media at ginagambala na naman ang kumpanya namin.

I have been living in a world where the people target me for my issues, which I am not even involved in, some aren't even issues.

"Josh, the head of the company plans on sending you to a farm for maybe a month to reflect on yourself more and to be stress free." Sabi ni Stell.

Tumango ako at tinignan siya sa mata. "You negotiated to not fire me, huh?"

"Josh, if we lose you we also lose the company. Kahit puro ka issue ikaw pa rin ang nagbubuhat sa kumpanya na ito." Justin said while giving himself a wrist massage.

"Can we leave for the farm now? As soon as possible. Gusto ko na din magpahinga." Sabi ko at tinignan ang picture namin ni Kendra sa desk ko. "Which farm?"

"Suson Ville." Sabi ni Justin kaya tumango ako.

I went home safely once the media died down a bit. I quickly packed up my stuff and told Kendra about it. Na magbabakasyon kami sa farm ng pamilya niya. I've never been the before.

I looked out my window and smiled.
