   "It's not a bad house," Adelaide said.
   "It's not at all. I really thought we were doomed."
   "Well, you're an author now. You're in a happy home. I couldn't have foreseen better for you."
   "I know, I'm really glad. In fact, I'm relieved."
   "I know it, I remember this feeling all too well."
