After finishing their training session and having their moment together, Katelyn and Caesar entered the mansion to finish packing. Caesar showed Katelyn each of the potions and herbs he packed for her and told her how and when to use them. She listened intently and repeated back each one, making sure she knew what each one did. After placing them in a special pouch on her belt, Katelyn waited by the front door for the others. Eldore, Yulie, and Leonard readied themselves at the door as Caesar talked to his steward about where the Lance could be located. After discussing the past event that he remembered the night before, Caesar joined the group and said, "Alright everyone, let's go on a treasure hunt. The lance is most likely under the Merchant's Quarter in Greede's Underbelly. It will most likely be in the sealed off third level, so we will have to flip the two levers on the second level to unlock the door." "Alright," Katelyn said, "To the Merchant's Quarter we go. Lead the way." Katelyn wrapped her arm in Caesar's arm as the rest of the group followed behind them. They made it to the train station and Yulie commented, "I feel weird saying this, but Count Drisdall was buff." Eldore added, "And he had a firm grip on what it takes to be a leader." Leonard added, "But he kind of reminded me of Caesar too." "But? What do you mean, but," Caesar questioned. Katelyn laughed and said to him, "You're just you, and that's why we all love you." Caesar huffed quietly and said, "Alright, let's catch the train." The group quickly boarded the train to the Merchant's Quarter.

As the train pulled up to the Merchant's Quarter, the group got off the train and started heading towards the entrance at the back of the Quarter. Caesar remarked, "I'm glad to see the place hasn't crumbled into pieces without me. But we have to stop the Netherwyrm and this fever before it spreads any further." With that, the group rushed through the streets towards Greede's Underbelly. When they reached the door, Caesar pulled out a key and unlocked the heavy lock that hung from the door and threw it to the side. The group rushed in, and Caesar started to lead the way through the tunnels. Within a few minutes, the group met a Greede defender who asked, "Lord Caesar? What are you doing here?" "I'm looking for a lance," he replied. "Sir, I'm afraid I don't know anything about a lance. However, I believe the Count once had something stored in the main reservoir. It should be somewhere in level three, but right now, the whole area is completely sealed off." "Thank you. I figured as much," Caesar replied to the guard. He said, "Follow me everyone." The group continued through the Underbelly, making their way to the hole that dropped from the first floor into the second floor. The monsters they met along the way were quickly killed as they continued through the tunnels.

After about ten minutes, the group reached the drop-down point and started to jump through the hole in the floor. Katelyn waited until Leonard, Yulie, and Eldore had jumped and told Caesar, "I hate to say this, but I'm terrified of heights." "Hey, it's alright. Just close your eyes. One of the others will catch you." "Okay," she whispered, giving him a small kiss on the lips. She then said, "I'll see you down there," before hollering about her coming down. She was caught a few seconds later by Eldore. After making sure she was alright, Eldore pulled Katelyn to the side for Caesar to jump down. After hitting the floor in a crouch, Caesar said, "The lever should be in the next room." With that, the group made their way to the room and opened the door, only to be met with a Direspider. Caesar, Katelyn, and Leonard looked between each other, and Leonard said, "We don't need a knight to defeat it. Let's wait until we reach a bigger battle." With that, the five charged into the room and started swinging at the Direspider. It took about ten minutes to defeat with the five of them working in tandem. After defeating the Direspider, Caesar said, "There's the lever. Let me pull it." With that, he headed over and pulled the lever and said, "Okay, on to the next. There are two steps before we can get to the next lever." The group started again through the catacombs until they reached the area where the second lever was. First, they fought their way to a small room with a lever that would unlock a set of three levers in the next room. These levers would unlock the door to the second lever. They reached the next room where the three levers were and Caesar said, "We only need to pull the right switch to unlock the door." He pulled the lever and said, "Alright, let's get to the next switch. The door should be unlocked." They went to the unlocked door and opened it to find another Direspider. The group quickly defeated the Direspider, and Caesar pulled the last lever. A loud clanging noise reverberated through Greede's Underbelly, and he said, "The door's unlocked. Let's go get that lance."
