It's now December. It's been a while since my mom died. Living in Boston during winter isn't a good feeling for most people but for the "squad" it's the best feeling ever.

Playing in the snow, blasting the heat, making car videos with the heat keeping us warm, cuddles. LOTS AND LOTS OF CUDDLES!!

The good thing about winter is that if you wanna get cuddles by your crush you can tell them your cold, so they cuddle you. Duh.

I love everything abt him. His smile, hair, eyes, laugh, style and personality. He's so fucking funny and I LOVE the way he holds and comforts me even when I'm happy. He told me that he'll never put me in harms way and every time him and I talk I get butterflies
With Matt, I only really get butterflies when he does something like compliments me or something

As I was walking to the kitchen, Matt came downstairs.

"Hey" Matt leaned on the island and watched me get some food out of the fridge.

"Hey Matt, why are you up so late?" I leaned on the other side of the island and ate my grapes

"No reason" I saw him checking me out a bit.

"So I need to talk to you about something"

"What's wrong?" Matt sat down on the bar stool looking a bit concerned.

I took a deep breath, "I've thought about what you and I could be and I think we should just be friends. It has nothing to do with you, I just have a stronger connection with Chris. I just don't wanna hurt your feelings"

"It's ok Steph, I already knew that you and I wouldn't date" Matt looked up at me and gave me a smile.

"But I don't wanna hurt your feelings" I reassured him.

"You wont" Matt came around to the other side of the island and held my hand.

*Chris' Pov*

I heard noises from the kitchen which woke me up. I went downstairs but stopped when I heard Stephanie and Matt talking.

"Do you promise me Matt?"

"Yes" Matt gave her a hug.

"Well I'm gonna go to bed, I'll see you in the morning" Stephanie grabbed a bowl from the counter and started walking towards the stairs

"Goodnight, I love you" hearing Matt say that to Stephanie hurt me..

"Love you too" but hearing Stephanie say it back, tore me into pieces.

We're they dating? Are they hiding something from me?
