"What if we never leave this place?" Tanong ni Bea kay Thirdy while having breakfast.
"You have to decide, Bea. Dito na lang tayo o pupunta pa ng Italy? Because I already have a plan."
"What plan?"
"Bumili ako ng bahay sa Rome, rented an office."
"Ha?"
"I have also started accepting resumes from Italian architects. Thanks to Leila, of course."
"Seryoso ba ito?" She couldn't believe what she's hearing.
"I can go to Italy at magstay dun ng matagal. If I'm needed here, I can take the plane, fly here tapos babalik sayo after. We'll have your favorite ice cream on the weekend, walk through the libraries."
"Stop, or I'll cry. I can't believe this."
"This will happen so don't cry. We have one problem, though. It seems I can't live without you."
"Ano ba pwede ko sabihin?"
She walked up to him and smothered him with kisses.

Pagkatapos ihatid ni Thirdy si Bea dumerecho sya sa Papa nya to check on him.
"Are you okay, Pa?"
"Oo, upo ka muna. There is something I want to tell you."
Thirdy sat down and his Papa sat in front of him.
"When I was younger, I was just as ambitious and persistent as you are now, work was everything. I accepted a lot of projects and construction kahit hindi na kaya ng company so ung isang project, I had to give to another firm, sa Ace Construction Firm. I have only known them through word of mouth, hindi ko na masyadong niverify ang mga records nila. So napunta sa kanila ang isang summer cottage project that I accepted. I didn't know how fraudulent they do their business and even have workers that are not professionally trained."
"So, why are you telling me this now? Sorry, Papa, hindi ko lang nagegets."
"Listen and don't interrupt. Dun sa summer cottage, may bumagsak na retaining wall, ang casualty is mag asawa."
Thirdy remembered nung kwinento sa kanya ni Bea kung paano namatay ang parents nya.
"This couple had a daughter,"
Napapikit ng madiin si Thirdy, alam na nya kung saan ang direksyon ng kwento ng Papa nya.
"Pilit kong pinahanap ung bata, but I failed on countless occasion. Her aunt changed their last name. Recently I just found out, Thirdy-"
Thirdy couldn't control his tears anymore.
"Ung bata na matagal ko nang pinapahanap-"
Thirdy can't afford to listen anymore, umiiling sya.
"Si Bea ung batang matagal ko nang pinapahanap."
Sinubukan ng Papa nya na hawakan sya pero tinabig ni Thirdy ang kamay nya. He was left there, full of pain knowing na pamilya nya ang naging cause ng pagkamatay ng magulang ni Bea, the same reason for her phobia.
