The next morning Jimin tells them that he is going to stay in Busan for a while, his teachers had responded with permission to skip classes for a few days. Taehyung and Jimin had agreed to stay in town with him as well, making sure he ate and took a little time for mental health.
Hoseok booked both him and Jieun tickets back to Seoul, making sure they got to the train station on time.
Jieun got back just in time to get to her first class, Hoseok showing up right after with a snack from Jin's as they hadn't had time for breakfast.
"I told work I would be back on Tuesday morning, so I'm all yours today," He told her as they walked down the hallway. Jieun grinned and they ended up in the library going over more math concepts until lunchtime.

"So, this is Danbi, and you met Bora," Jieun motions to both girls as the two of them sit down at lunch. Hoseok gives them both his usual smile, immediately asking them questions to make everyone more comfortable.
Jieun looks at her tray, sighing at the closed container of rice, it was hot and normally she just waited until it cooled down to peel the plastic top off. Hoseok quickly picked it up, opening it for her easily. He kept the top, placing the small container back on her tray, attention on the other girls.
Danbi chatted easily with him while Bora was distracted on her phone, eating between texts. Jieun smiled, having a guess at who her friend was texting so much.
"So, how long have you been doing pottery?" Danbi asks, curious about the man's interests.
"A long time," Hoseok laughs, "It's really fun, I could show you all some time, we have classes at the store," He says eagerly.
Jieun quietly eats her food, letting the others talk. As it gets later in the afternoon, Bora leaves, heading to the café, and Hoseok sighs, saying he needs to run an errand before meeting up with Jieun again after her math class.
Both girls watched him leave, waving back when he turns at the door.
"Jieun if you don't marry that man," Danbi says, half-joking, have serious.
Jieun chokes on her water, "What! I barely know him!" She says after she stops coughing.
"He knows you well enough," Danbi says, leaning in, "He opened your rice for you without you having to ask, that's gotta say something," She insists.
"That just says he's a kind and helpful person!" Jieun says, downplaying the interaction.
Danbi looks at her with one eyebrow raised, breaking into laughter as Jieun flushed. "Why does he have to be so nice?"
Danbi laughs, "He likes you, I bet my life on it!"
"Don't bet your life on that, it's so unnecessary, plus, you need to focus more on your roommate than my model," Jieun says, teasing her friend back.
Danbi groans, "Don't remind me. He's so unreadable!"
"He's not unreadable, you are just scared," Jieun insists, "Ask him on a lunch date or just to hang out, I bet he's gonna say yes."
Danbi looks at Jieun, thinking the idea over before giving in, "Fine, but if it backfires, I'm sleeping at yours, so I don't have to see him."
"Fair enough!" Jieun laughs, as they both stand to head to their next class.

Jieun and Hoseok get to sewing as soon as they walk back into the apartment, quickly knocking out several of the more simple pieces of clothing before Hoseok makes them stop to eat again. He had very quickly learned that when Jieun was focused on a creative task, she would forget about everything else, even drinking water was on the backburner.
He ordered them a pizza, they ate it quickly, and then Jieun made them get back to work on a suit set that required some more delicate techniques. Hoseok slowly got more tired, eventually falling asleep as Jieun quietly hand-stitched some velvet hemming.
When Jieun finished the hems, she sighed and shrugged, crawling into the bed with Hoseok, collapsing into him as he pulled her closer in his sleep.

He wakes her up the next morning, extracting himself from the bed, needing to head to work for the morning shift. Jieun groans displeased that her heater was leaving before she needed to get up herself. Hoseok smiled at her so softly, petting her hair back before pressing a small kiss on her forehead and leaving.
She sits up, suddenly wide awake as the door clicks closed behind him. There was no way Danbi could be right. Right? He probably just did that because she's like a little sister to him. She occasionally kissed Jimin and Taehyung on their foreheads or hair, that's what it was, just like that, she decides.
She tries to put it out of her mind, getting up now that she was awake.
