You Set My Senses Alight

Your voice is deep.
It soothes my nerves.
Like a hot cup of tea,
Brewed with herbs.
I lock your lips with mine.
In a kiss so passionate it freezes time.
Softest lips but a scratching of stubble.
You my dear, are worth the trouble.
Your mouth tastes of chewing gum.
Minty fresh and a hint of rum.
You smell of coffee and gasoline.
To this day you still rock those old ripped jeans.
You hold me in a tight embrace,
With skin so warm,
It makes me heart race.
Your eyes are pools of stars and I long to dive in.
I want to explore the glittering galaxy hidden within.
