Chapter 7-Phone Call

[Timeskip: The Next Morning]

Y/n's Pov

I walk into the kitchen to see Russel and Noodle sitting at the table with cereal in front of both of them. Something felt off but then I remember Murdoc still wasn't home from last night, 2D was still asleep, to think we were still sharing a room after all this time...

"Still no Murdoc?" I ask them.

"Nope, it MUST be a one night stand." Russel says, Noodle giggled at what he had said.

Suddenly my phone rang, "Huh... random number... must be Murdoc calling from the phone of the significant other..." I say jokingly, it made Noodle and Russel laugh, I then answered the phone.

"Hello? Is this Y/n L/n?" It wasn't Murdoc, it was a different male voice.

"Uh yeah? Who is this?" I ask confused.

"Well... this is the London police, we are calling to inform you that Murdoc landed himself in jail... again... last time he was behind bars was around late 2003, what a trouble maker.."

"Wait... Murdoc is in jail!? What did he do!?" I say in a panic, Noodle and Russel look over at me worried.

"He was caught smuggling, we found him last night passed out from drinking and we arrested him last night, he just woke up and gave us your number, he'll be in jail for at least 5 years, most 10 years."

"A-Alright sir... can we visit him?" I ask.

"You'll have to call us first but you can come any day unless we say so, right now we can't have any but you can call us whenever after today." He said.

"A-Alright... t-thank you sir..." I say.

"No problem ma'am, have a nice day." He says hanging up.

I stood there in shock... Murdoc was in jail... I look at Noodle and Russel, "Uh... so bad news... Murdoc was caught smuggling so now he's in jail for 5-10 years..." I finally said.

"Oh my god! What do we do?" Noodle said, "Can we visit him?"

"Not right now but we could try tomorrow..." I said.

"Alright... um... go tell 2D while we talk this out... see if we can find a temporary Bassist..." Noodle said.

Oh right I didn't even think of that, I nod my head as I speed walk to 2D's room, how's he going to react to this? Will he be happy? Sad? Mad? Who will even know until I tell him...
