Thoma brought two lunches the next day as well. Ayato was terrified of accidentally blushing in front of Thoma again, so he requested that Thoma place his lunches in his locker for Ayato to collect.

Of course, he had lied to him, saying that it was "improper to directly hand nobles their food." But Thoma hadn't seemed to catch on.

He walked past Ayato with the lunches, approaching Ayato's locker and opening it with the code Ayato had given him. He set it down before walking past Ayato again. "See you at lunch!" Thoma said, waving at Ayato before disappearing from his sight.

Ayato let out a relieved breath. He would get past the initial shock of the lunch this way. He opened his locker, popping the lunch open and peering inside.

This time, Thoma left a note resting atop the meal, sealed in a baggy. Ayato opened it.

At the top, Thoma had written out the meal contents. All the little flavors and delicacies he had added for the young master.

And at the very bottom, 5 simple words that made Ayato go so red that he ran to the restroom, hiding out in a stall until the feeling wore off.
