Moving to the city with Hajiya Saleema,he started up a business of selling cars as she granted him a loan. He started with importing of cars and tricycles. He had his own fair share of unsuccessfulness as he had encounters with bogus business men. Years after getting used to the business world,he gained acceptance from the people and became popular.
Hajiya Saleema on the other hand rained affronts on him because he was getting famous and she wanted him to rely on her. Her kids did attend the best of Primary schools but Zainab was the typical definition of "anyi asaran kudin Tara" (I really don't know the meaning but it's something that has to do with spoilt) at Jss3.
Yeah,everyone knew"yayan Alhaji.Fawaz,the most famous magnate.
Out of the two kids,Yousuf had always been the kind one but his twin,Zainab was the lousy one as she disrupted peace wherever she went to.
The subsequent week,Alhaji Fawaz went back to the exact place he met the beggar and her child but they were nowhere in sight. His mind had been in chaos ever since he had an encounter with the young girl. He had a feeling he was connected to the girl because he knew and never forgot what he did some years ago.
Few weeks later, he fortunately met with the beggar and as he had predicted, she was one,they had a one on one talk with her which as first she refused. All he wanted was to seek her forgiveness and get the custody of his child. She had refused at first but later gave up knowing Rabiah had a lot of health complications and had no shelter and money to take her to the sickhouse whenever her health issues arose.
Taking her to his house, she was blatantly refused by Hajiya Saleema and her daughter but on the other hand was welcomed with opened arms by Yousuf.He had always been his father's favourite even with the huge character contrast. This made Hajiya Saleema send the both packing as she had gotten what she wanted a long time ago. Zainab was surely unhappy but had no choice than to keep shut and watched as her father and twin brother left the house.
Alhaji Fawaz had a house which he moved into with his son and daughter and after a short period of time,got married to Lantana because of her refusal to let her daughter stay with a man who abandoned them for years and secondly he was the cause of her lack of shelter.
Rabiah got enrolled in St.Louis nursery and primary school and her brother, St.Thomas Secondary. She was a girl with age but was still in primary school which made her a laughing stock to the students and some of her inconsiderate teachers.
After four good years,she wrote her entrance exams and got into St.Louis Secondary School and her brother already in Bayero University Kano studying Electrical Engineering.
At twenty three,she finished her secondary school and was about entering university when her father's company went bankrupt. He got into a fatal accident which cost him his life and left them with loans.
Few weeks later,she,her step brother and mother were sent out of their house without notice and were asked to leave with no single item.
