4:30 am when I woke up and cooked my breakfast. I need to have an energy of today's work. After that, I just took a shower and prepared myself to look comfortable baka palabasin ako sa Malacañang eh.
I just wore our casual outfit to make me formal as it was been a public interest coverage and I will be in front of the country's administration especially with the Newly Elected President - hindi bagay yung hubadera outfit don.
5 am when I drove on the way to the headquarter because our call time is 5:30 am, we need to be early as possible because there's a lot of setting up that we need to do when we got in Malacañang.
"Maayos na ba lahat? How about the cameras?"
"Your assigned duty today, Bella and Carla? Okay na ba?"
Tanong ko sa team ko pagkapasok ko sa headquarter. Tumango naman silang lahat saakin.
"Okay na lahat, Kate." sagot ni Bella saakin. Oh? May bago ngayon ah? They looked serious now.
"O-Oh? Ang seryoso niyo ngayon ah?" pabirong tanong ko kay Bella.
"Professionalism." she said.
Natawa naman ako sakanila at tinapik na lamang sila sa balikat. Marunong naman pala silang mag-seryoso bakit pa nila ako inaasar? Hobby na siguro nila yon. Tsk.
"We need to go na, Ms. Kate." the production head announced. Tumungo naman na kami sa mga sasakyan namin upang pumunta na sa palasyo.
Everything was set and in good. I am hoping for a successful coverage today. May God give me so much understanding about the Newly President that I didn't vote.

"This way po." PSG are guiding us to the assigned media section here inside the Malacañang Palace. Our production team was now setting up the things that need to be set-up. I was just preparing my note pad where I will put every details that's important for the report that we will do.
"Only two is allowed in the meeting hall. Please, don't forget the protocols. Thank you." a staff announced. That's normal in this kind of coverage, I used to go alone in a meeting hall when I have this kind of assignment in US so it's not new for me.
"Bella, go with me." I said to Bella. She just nodded and took her things. "And Carla, you will be the one who will receive the photos and some information that we will send."
"Okay, noted." she responded happily.
Kinuha ko naman na ang isang camera at tinungo na namin ang meeting hall kung saan gaganapin ang first cabinet meeting ng pangulo.
Aguinaldo State Dining Room is where the cabinet meeting will be held. I just amazed on the design of the room. It's a classic and wide hall.
"Please, seat on your assigned seat. 10 minutes from now the President will be arrive."
Nagdatingan naman na ang miyembro ng gabinete at si VP Sara Duterte. Kanya-kanya kuha ng litrato ang mga media at pag-approach sa mga ito. I also took photos but not that much na halos itutok mo na yung camera sakanila. OA na masyado yon.
"Ang ganda ni VP Sara." bulong ni Bella saakin. Tumingin naman ako kay VP Sara na nakatalikod mula sa pwesto namin dahil nasa likod niya lamang ang aming assigned seats.
"Nakatalikod." mahinang sagot ko kay Bella.
"Mamaya, makikita mo. Binoto ko yan eh." Napatango na lamang ako sa sinabi niya.
"Ah, me too. RoSa yung akin eh." Yes, I voted Sara Duterte.
"BBM-SARA ako." dagdag ni Bella.
Natatawang tinignan ko naman si Bella. "Really? I don't know that ah."
"Lowkey lang baka icancel mo eh." pabirong aniya. Napailing naman ako at napabuntong hininga.
"Cancel culture is not my thing. Kadiri yon. My fellow kakampinks who cancelling some BBM supporters is just dumb."
"Yes! Tama k-" hindi naman natuloy ang sinasabi ni Bella nang may mag-anunsyo ulit.
"Please welcome, His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos Jr."
Tumayo naman kaming lahat at hinihintay ang pagpasok ng pangulo. Hindi naman nagtagal at nahagip na ng mga mata ko ang bagong pangulo.
"Ang presidente..." mahinang sambit ni Bella.
Hindi naman naalis ang paningin ko sa pangulo na ngayon ay nakikipag-kamay sa kanyang gabinete. I just took a pictures and looked at them as we sit down.
President Bongbong Marcos...
This is my first time seeing him in person. He was not that tall but his supremacy as he walked inside of the hall was in denial. The 64 years old president is like was just in 40s because of his built. He was like a serious and authoritative type of man but when he smile right now to the people here in the hall is I could say that he got the humor.
Nakikipag-tawanan pa siya ngayon sa gabinete niya habang nakikipag-kamay lalo na nang makalapit na siya kay VP Sara. His genuine smile was being showed. Oh? They looked so comfortable with each other as what I saw in television and social media.
Sabi nga ng iba, magkasundo ngayon ang Presidente at Bise Presidente. Bakit? Nag-away ba sina PRRD and VP Leni? Hindi ako na orient. Mas close lang talag ang magtandem na ito at magkalapit pa yata kasi ang Pamilyang Marcos at Duterte.
