✨Chapter 5✨

You wake up to a bright light shining through your open blinds you look up not remembering when you fell asleep. You look over at your phone 7:30am it read you turn your attention back to your room as you swing your legs over the edge of the bed to get up. You walked into the bathroom and looked at yourself in the mirror. wow you look like crap you turned on the sink to splash your face with a bit of water. You grab the hand towel to dry your face then left the bathroom. As you walk into the kitchen you look around to see if you can find ran but you didn't so you figured he just went home. You walk over to the fridge to pull out some leftover pancake mix. After you made some pancakes and some coffee/tea you went into the lounge room and turned on the TV. The news came on. Watching the news and eating your breakfast do you wondered what to do today when you got a text. You grabbed your phone to see it was a text from Ran you open the phone and it read 'hey I was hoping you would wanna hang out today.'
You replied with a 'no.' to which he replied
'That's too bad I'll pick you up at 12'
You sigh as you placed your phone down knowing that arguing won't change his mind The time was now 11 so you decided to start getting ready you went back into your room to pick out some clothes and once you are done you got in the shower after you got out you decided to just throw your hair into a messy wet bum. You walked out and changed into your clothes can you put a little bit of make up on and by the time you're done you got your phone and keys and waited in the lounge room. Not five minutes later there was a knock on the door you opened it to see ran he smiled as he extended his hand for you to take. "Shall we go my lady." He said in a weird princely voice you just rolled your eyes and took his hand. Once in the car you asked "where are we going." He looked at you smiled then replied "i'm taking you on a date." Your eyes wide and as you looked at him "but I didn't agree to this." He looked at you again briefly "but you came." You open your mouth but no words came out as you looked back out your window. After about half an hour of driving the car pulls into a car park as you both got out and walked into this fancy restaurant you looked at ran with wide eyes "I can't afford this." You whisper shouted at him as he just looked at you and smiled as the waiter shows you to your table. After looking at the menu you looked back up at ran "don't worry y/n it's on me." He said. the waiter came and asked for the order and left again. Almost at the end of the lunch you looked back at ran as he has been staring at you the whole time "what?" "Nothing."he smiled he looked at the weather that just came with the check. As you are walking out he asked "is there anywhere you'd like to go before you go home.?" You looked at him while and thought "bookstore."he smiled as you guys got into the car The drive to the bookstore was very quiet but not exactly awkward. When you got to the bookstore you got out of the car and he followed you in as you are scanning the shelves lost in your own little world looking at books. Ran noticed you went straight to the romance and Fantasy section as he silently watched you pick out a few books. When you are done you looked at him "I'm done." You said as he nodded and you guys walked to the cash register you got about 5 books but as you got distracted pulling out your card to pay. Ran paid for all of them when you looked up at him dumbfounded he just smiled down at you and grab the books and walked out with you following behind him like a lost puppy. You both got in the car and you looked at him "why?" he looked at you in all seriousness " y/n I would buy the whole bookstore if you asked." On the drive home you practically just stared at the Side of his head the whole time. Once he got home he pulled the keys out of your bag and opened the front door you turn around to look at him about to say something when he stepped really close and kiss you... on the forehead you just stare at him as he said goodbye and started walking away right as he was about to get into the car you yelled
"Hey!" He looked at you "do you wanna.. maybe.. come in?" He smiled and close the car door and then walked into your house. You placed your books down on the kitchen counter and turn around to ask if you want to drink "Coffee." He replied. After making coffee for both of you and grabbing some snacks you walked back into the lounge room where he was seated comfortably on the couch. As you sat down you asked "what do you want to watch?" He replied with some movie that you've never heard of later to find out it was a horror. You couldn't stand horror. Put it on anyway you're halfway through the movie when a really scary jump scene happened 'shit' you think.
"Well you're not good with horror." Ran said out of nowhere you look up to him realising you're practically just jumped into him. As you're about to get up you wrapped an arm around you and pulled you into his lap as you're practically straddling him. You refuse to meet his eye as you feel your face turn bright red. "Y/n look at me."he says as he places his hand on your chin to tilt your head up to meet his eye. You guys sat there looking at each other for what feels like an eternity. He leans in "can I?" He asks inches away from your lips you don't say anything but you give a little nod he leans in as you feel his breath fan across your lips. You close your eyes. As you finally feel his lips capturing yours.
