“what? i don't remember about that 10,000 thing” takeomi whistled, kokonoi irked, he walks towards takeomi and starts shaking his shoulder

sanzu is sitting on the couch together with the haitani brothers, you're just standing in the corner, starring at the view outside through the glass wall

“man, you should apologize to y/n, ya know. your words earlier are really harsh” ran quietly said, rindou just hummed and nodded

“i don't mean any of those. believe it or not, i just said those so she won't hold back against me” sanzu defended himself, he's telling the truth tho, but he guess he went out of line

“why did you even invited her for a one versus one in the first place? knowing that she's a high ranking swordsman” sanzu shrugged at rindou, he too don't know why he did that

you extended your arm so yuan can land there. you eyed your crow. sanzu was about to ask why your crow is here but ran immediately stopped him

“caw! deceased! flame hashira, kyojuro rengoku is dead!” your grip on the glass of water tightens, the bonten executives was also shock at the news and become worried for you

“he fought with the upper moon 3 and died. caw!” your crow said

bonten looked at you with worry in their eyes when you broke the glass of water in your hands.

“i don't believe this.” you muttered, you felt rage through your body, you can't accept that one hashira died because of an upper moon. and the fact that you know how both physically and mentally strong rengoku is. he's not the type to easily let himself lose

“how you will know if it's part of the 12 kizuki?” koko asked, he's afraid that they will face one of the 12 kizuki

“then who's stronger? the 12 kizuki or the hashiras?” takeomi asked, your crow fell silent for a moment before answering the question

“caw, if we will be honest here, lower moons are nothing compared to hashira!” their face lightened up a bit with that

“but the upper moons are different story, caw! upper moon six to four are not good as the top three but they can inflict a high damages to hashira, caw!” your crow stopped for a bit before continuing

“i hate to say this, caw, but a strength of upper moon one, two and three are equivalent to three hashira, caw!” their hands balled into fist, their mind quickly thinks about you

“even if that's the inevitable truth, hashira are amazing, they have strong spirits and wonderful determination to kill every demons, caw! the fact that they are just humans, they can't regenerate if they lose their limbs, they can't heal their wounds in small amount of time like demons, but still, they are amazing because they are never afraid to fight and protect others, caw! everyone in the demon slayer corps are amazing!” your crow said being a little teary eyed, bonten smiled a little because of his words

“i thought y/n is not that close with the other hashira, but she looks very affected by the flame hashira's death” koko commented, you crow raised his one wing

“caw! iguro-sama deeply respect rengoku kyojuro and held him in a high standard! she believes that he was extremely powerful. caw, every hashira likes the flame hashira, even the grumpy wind hashira likes him, caw!” your crow just spit some facts

“pfft, grumpy wind hashira, you're right, that guy looks angry every time” sanzu snickered

“caw, even if he's grumpy, he make sense most of the time, caw! and he likes iguro-sama the most among the other hashira, so i like him, caw!” they are not that surprise to hear that, they can see that since sanemi talks very calm at you

“eh, does he like y/n? like romantically?” ran can't help but to ask that

“caw, shinazugawa-sama likes the late flower hashira, kocho kanae”

you stared at the blue sky, you can only think why kyojuro died in the hands of upper moon three. you want to decline the fact that he died while the upper moon three got away, your hate and anger against demons just grew big

his father, shinjuro, is the one who saved you from the snake demon who took a liking to you and tried eating you when you tried to escape.

“filthy demons, just wait and we will crash every single one of you”
