the bar counter is just about 12 feet away from where you're standing now. you signalled them to run and they quickly did, they hide behind but still peeking so they can see you
kaiju, the beast demon, send death glares at you, it quickly regenerate his hand that you slashed. his height is about 10'5 compared to yours, 5'3. he is big and muscular too a total opposite of you who have a small body
“fine, i will crush you first!” he throwed a punch at your spot, you jumped back to avoid it, your eyebrows furrowed, you're really at disadvantage when it comes to strength, even so, fighting don't always rely on strength
“demon slayers! you are all pathetic who's trying to be heroes!” he grabbed a piece of the ground and throws it at you, gripping your nichirin blade, you slashed it into four before it even hits you
you start to run, finding an opening to slash his head to end the battle quickly, you don't know when the other demon will show its presence and attack you. not that they will defeat you if they work together, but bonten is with you so fighting while keeping them safe is not easy
“blood demon art : beast's claw slice!” kaiju slashed his hands on the air but it did reach your direction, it's like the air is cutting you, it's like you can see an transparent thin blades coming to your direction, you swinged your nichirin blade to defend yourself
you clicked your tongue and stopped at running, you purposely ran away from your spot earlier because bonten are behind you and if the beast sends attack at you, it can reach them. your speculations are accurate since it really sends attack at you
and one thing, a beast would only pay attention to someone who's a complete threat to them. you need to draw his attention from them to you
“will a bullet affect that monster?” sanzu whispered, the others eagerly shook their heads, they are still uneasy and they are very worried for you
they are peeking a little, afraid to get caught by the beast demon since it will trouble you more if they got caught and taken as hostage.
“you dodge that? other slayers can't even dodge that, and get killed in a second. idiots!” he laughed mockingly, you didn't show any emotion and just stared at him
“humans will never be able to defeat us, demons! we are perfect creatures, we don't die, we don't age, we don't need to eat everyday to survive like pathetic humans like you!” he pointed at you, kaburamaru didn't liked it and hissed at kaiju
“perfect creatures? pitiful demons can't walk under the sun and you're calling that as a perfect creatures? don't make me laugh” he growled at that, obviously not liking what you've said
“humans are nothing but food! blood demon art : beast's fist!” you're eyes widen a bit when he appeared at front of you and starts throwing speed forceful punches
the punches lasted for almost 30 seconds, you manage to dodge those punches by catching every punch using your nichirin blade. much to your irritation, the beast manage to land once punch at you
“y/n!” bonten yelled after seeing you got punched, the beast fist's is even bigger than you
since the punch is upward, it sent you flying at the ceiling, the punch was strong but nothing that you can't take. when your body is about to hit the ceiling, you manage to land your foot on the ceiling
you collect some force and bend your knees from the ceiling before jumping down, you aimed for kaiju's neck. you slashed it but it's tough, he smirked at you and tried catching you but you dodge by twitching your body in mid air before he could even touch you, you land perfectly on the ground, standing.
“you can't decapitate me? my neck is tough for a small creature like you!” he laughed like a madman but you just clicked your tongue
“huh? y/n can't behead him? if that's so, how she can defeat that demon?” bonten looks so loss
“what a shame, i'm trying to decapitate you without using my breathing technique. but that's fine” you grasped your nichirin blade with your two hands and bend down a little, a small amount but powerful winds start to surrounds you, that made kaiju stepped back and gulped
“decapitating you using my breathing style would be more fun since it's more agonizing.” you said in a calm but harsh tone
kaiju was threatened by your words and your aura now but he won't surrender and let himself get kill, not by a human, not by a weak, small and pathetic creature like you.
“damn, i'm feeling the goosebumps again that i felt on the van incident!” ran said with a little excitement on his voice. they are watching you with adoration on their eyes, everyone don't know but they are feeling an excitement, and again, it's only you who made them feel that kind of excitement.
it's almost like someone is giving them what they want the most.
“y/n, she's right. she's powerful” sanzu smirked, he remembers your words when you fought him
“i think she's about to perform a breathing style again! get your phones, we gotta take a video of this iconic moment!” everyone agreed on rindou and grabbed their own phone to start taking a video
“beast demon, you're once a human, you're weak before you become strong.” kaiju was obviously taken aback by your words, hence, you take that chance to finally end everything
“hebi no kokyu : ichi no kata, idagiri” you moves like a slithering snake and releases several slashes in winding pattern at kaiju, showing a big snake who looked like kaburamaru

the demon were caught off guard and didn't manage to dodge the attack, you successfully decapitate him. you land on the ground. you swinged your blade in the air to clean the blood on it, it splattered on the ground.
you stared at kaiju's body that is now starting to turn into dust and fading slowly. he's still growling and shouting, and you don't give a damn.
after he disappeared, you eyed your surrounding
“i don't feel any presence of a demon anymore, the other one might already have run away” you took a one last glance at kaiju's spot before heading towards bonten's spot
“y/n, are you okay?” kakucho asked you, they walked towards you and examine your body, probably looking for any bruises
“i'm fine. let's go”
