“let's buy you a coat, pair of gloves, sweater, scarf, anything that could keep you warm during winter” he stood up from his seat and took a glance on his wristwatch

“great, it's just 9:00 am. let's eat lunch outside too, i'm lazy to cook.” you nod your hair, hoping that he'll take you to somewhere that isn't crowded

“wait here, i will get you a coat, gloves and scarf. just borrow mine and we'll buy yours later” he quickly ran upstairs to get those things he mentioned

you're wearing a black skinny jeans, and a white long sleeve blouse then a black ankle boots. originally, your clothes consists a different kind of kimono and yukata, but kokonoi shopped for your modern clothes

“y/n, here!” rindou handed you a coat that is big for you, it was long, about just 4 inches above your ankle. it was beige cream, same with the scarf. the gloves are color black, much to your liking

rindou help you wear those, kaburamaru quickly placed himself comfortably on your scraf, enjoying its warm. rindou stared at you, his other hand on his chin, examining you. his eyes widen before clicking his finger on the air, making you confuse

“damn right, wait here again, i forgot something!” he ran upstairs and minute later, he came back with a beret on his hand. the beret is color beige cream too, matching the coat and scarf

he placed it in your head before smiling proudly

“there, you're all set. let's go”

WALKING SIDE BY SIDE on the busy street of tokyo, you can't help but to admire the city. there's so many tall buildings, different lights, the city is so lively. this is the world that you and the demon slayer corps should protect

he's also the on who's carrying the paper bags. there were eight big paper bags but it doesn't seem to bother the dual haired male

“i know a ramen shop” rindou pulled you into an empty alleyway, you didn't speak and just followed him.

eyes wandering everywhere at the empty and cold alleyway, you spot a moving box. you stopped on your tracks, eyes squinting, you walked towards the box. rindou didn't noticed and just continue to walk

“crap, my sword is on rindou's car” you thought but shrugged because you don't feel a demon aura

being careful, you took a step closer to the box. it moved again, you heard scratches, it's probably from inside the box. you didn't waste any second and quickly opened the box

revealing a furry creature

“meow” you stared at the little furry creature in awe, its furr is white and their eyes are color gold. you didn't hesitate to pick up the cat and raised it to your eye level, you stared at it as it stare at you too

“y/n! my god, i thought i lost you!” your staring contest with the cat was soon cut off when rindou shouted while running towards you

“sorry, i guess? i saw this cat and decided to stop” you said and showed him the cat. like you, rindou was also in awe while staring at the cat

“she have a unique eyes” rindou said, you nod in agreement, the cat jumped to rindou as the lad catches it

“i see, she have taken a liking to you” you said while watching the cat turning into a little ball while she's in rindou's hand

“then, should we adopt her?” rindou rubbed the cat's body, then he proceeds to give her a belly rub. the cat purr, indicating that she likes rindou's belly rubs

“it's for you to decide, the mansion is not mine.” you said, rindou nodded as you two starts to leave the empty alleyway

“what should we name her?” rindou asked you, eyes still not leaving the comfortable cute cat on his hands

“i'm not good at naming. and why are you asking me? you're the owner now since she likes you” rindou swear that he sense a bitterness on your voice

like saying 'i saw her first but she likes you instead of me'

you frowned at the dual haired man and sent him death glares. cause you're really jealous that the cat like him more than you, you're not even sure if the cat likes you

rindou chuckled at your behavior before returning his attention to the cat

“from now on, you're aeri. rindou haitani and y/n iguro's daughter.” the cat purred
