“HEBI NO KOKYU : ICHI NO KATA, IDAGIRI. WACHING” ran, rindou and koko laughed loud at sanzu who's imitating you by copying your posture when you're performing your breathing style, kakucho, takeomi and mochi manage to suppress their laughter by glancing at the other way. mikey is just watching them

“y/n is so cool” ran commented, they've been watching your video that they took yesterday, it's your video performing your breathing style. sanzu swinged his katana on the air like what you did on the video

you're just lying on the stair's railing, your one arm supporting your body. you rolled your eyes on them, it's the 30th time that they replayed your video

after they are satisfied, they finally stopped watching the video and hide their phones. ran stands up from sitting and stretched his body

“so, what's our lunch?” he asked but no one answered and they just stared at him

“let's just order online” rindou said, they nodded since no one wants to volunteer to cook. actually, only rindou, ran and kakucho can cook well

“i can cook” sanzu pointed himself proudly

“no! the last time you cooked, you put drugs on the foods and everyone become high!” koko hissed, sanzu avoided koko's eyes and whistled

speaking of lunch, you feel hungry, the last time you eat was 4 days ago. you can't feel it until now, you think about mitsuri, you only have appetite when you're eating with her. you smiled a little when you remember her, she have a very big appetite, when you two are eating, you will always wait for her to finish with smile on your face.

“y/n, do you want to eat?” your thoughts was cut off by kakucho's question, he's now ordering online. you fell silent for a second, rindou elbowed kakucho slightly

“maybe she don't want to eat, she have a small appetite right-”

“i'll eat” everyone was shock at that but immediately smiled, for the one month that you've spent with them, you never eat in front of them. you're eating on your room and they respect it

you made up your mind, you will finally show them your scars. whether they will accept you for it or not, you don't care. at least the woman you like, accepted you fully.

embrace and love yourself. that's what mitsuri did and advice you to do also, but, it's just too hard for you, you loath yourself, you loath the family that you came from, embracing and loving yourself was just too much for you.

“y/n, the foods are here. do you want me to help you prepare your foods and assist you up to your room?” you blinked and looked at rindou, you didn't noticed that you all are in the dining area now

“no, i'll eat here” they look stunned and surprised, but quickly cleared their throats and prepared your plate. you on the other hand was feeling a little nervous, why are you nervous? you secretly smacked your chest slightly

“y/n, you can sit beside me” kakucho offered, you nod and goes beside him. mikey is still on the center, no one can take that spot from him.

you're facing sanzu, beside him is ran, beside ran is rindou, beside rindou is takeomi. koko is sitting on the other side of kakucho and beside him was mochi.

“let's eat” mikey declared, you touched your bandage

“y/n, if you're still not comfortable to show us what's behind that bandage, it's okay.” everyone agreed on mochi. they don't deny that they are very curious at first but that doesn't matter now, you're all that matters to them.

you suddenly feel uneasy, you can't admit to yourself that you're afraid that they will judge you. you always receives humiliating stares from the others since the day you got your scars, rengoku family and mitsuri are the first ones to accept you and told you that you are beautiful.

“if you are thinking that we will judge you, we won't. we are not in the position to judge you for what you are hiding behind those bandages. actually, no one is in the position to do that” ran said, you know that it was sincere

“whether that's a flaw or not, you are beautiful.” rindou added, you gripped your skirt under the table

“this... this is my biggest insecurity.” you said and touched your bandage

“everyone have insecurities. mine are my scars, i always hide these in a mask when i was younger. that's over now, i finally overcome my insecurity” sanzu said while pointing his two diamond shapes scars, mikey sweat dropped

“actually...” next think you did caught them off guard, you removed your bandages and showed them your scars

“my insecurity was my scars too.” you continued, they fell silent and you thought they are now disgusted by your scar, you're about to put back the bandages but a hand stopped you

“don't put it back so you can eat.” you looked at kakucho, trying to find any hint of disgust on his face but all you saw was a kind smile that is reaching his eyes

“just like what i thought. you are beautiful y/n” ran winked at you, you felt a warm sensation on your heart

“hah, people with scars are the coolest” sanzu said, he's taking note that he should go and create a banner later. he's welcoming you to bonten members with scars, you're not a member but still

“we will finally see you smile without your bandages” rindou said and smiled a little, not even ones he saw you smile, all you did was smirk and grin

“you won't judge me? you won't call me freak and ugly?” you're afraid that they are just faking being kind to you because you're protecting them from demons

“hell no. you're too beautiful to be called freak and ugly.” they answered, you slowly nod your head and starts eating, they also did the same

“you can stop wearing your bandages when you're with us, only if you're comfortable” you nodded at takeomi, you're slowly showing them your friendly side

you might be very harsh at everyone, you tend to hate them just by looking at them. but you can really be friendly once you took a liking at them

“then... y/n, can i order you not to wear that bandages when you're with us?” you stopped chewing and faced mikey, the others also did the same

“only if all of you are also comfortable to see my scars” kaburamaru slithered on your arms, you grabbed the fork with chicken to feed him

“we don't mind seeing your pretty face every single day.”
