Elizabeth screamed as she pushed, tightening her hold on her husband's hand "Keep pushing amore just one more push," Alessandro assured his wife She screamed once more and the sound of crying quickly filled the room.
But they weren't done yet.
"There's one more," one of the doctors said "WHAT" Elizabeth groaned "You're having twins Mrs." "I guess it was hidden since it didn't show on the ultrasound" "Cmon baby you can do this" Alessandro encouraged her
She pushed and pushed and pushed. She knew there was a chance of her not making it but she kept pushing.
With one last ear-piercing scream, she pushed as hard as she could and quickly more crying filled the room as Elizabeth fell back in her bed panting.
"It's a boy and a girl" Both Elizabeth and Alessandro's eyes widened, the Romanos hadn't had a girl born in their family in decades.
"They're beautiful" the doctors brought the twins to them after cleaning them up.
Elizabeth held them both in her hands, tears running down her cheeks.
"Levi Javier Romano & Aria Emerald Romano." She kissed their foreheads. "I love you both," she told the babies before looking at her husband who had now brought their other 6 children to meet their new siblings "I love you all," she told them while leaning back and giving the twins to her husband as if she knew what was coming.
Those words. They were the last words of Elizabeth Jane Romano before the machine monitoring her heartbeat turned into a straight line and her body went limp.
