"Welcome home Mr. Bang, Such a long time I have seen you again" Mr. Park said, my loyal family servant and close friend opened the front door of my parents house
"The last time you saw me was a year ago" I said and I entered my parents house
"Still it's long time ago.. how have you been?" He asked
"I'm doing pretty good and you?" I asked
"Also very good" he smiled
"Good to hear" I said
We had a quick talk before I asked where my mum was? Mr. Park said she was in dinning room waiting for you
So I went to the dinning and I saw my mom sitting at the dinning table and reading the newspaper
When I went to her, she looked up and saws me
"Chan, honey welcome home" she said and I stood up and she went to me
She pulled me into a hug and hugged her back
"I missed you" she said
"I missed you too mum" I smiled and pulled away
"Sit and let's eat" she said
I sat down by the dinning table and my mum sat opposite of me
"Jiyoon, can come here?" she asked
I saw a young girl entering the dinning room
"You called me?" She asked
"Yes, can you get us the food?" She asked
"Ofcourse ma'am, right away" she said and she left
"That's our new housemaid, Jiyoon, she around the same age as you maybe younger" my mom told me
"Does she work here?" I asked
"Yes, well she has a internship here.. her school asked if she can come here" she said with a smile
"Ah yes, does she it good?" I asked
"Yes, she does sometimes a bit insure about the things she do but she does it very good. I'm thinking of hiring her" she said
"That sounds pretty good" I said
The young girl came back with a few plates. I could see on her face she was getting nervous and bit struggling
So I stood up and helped her
She said a small thank you and bit blushing
"Such a gentleman" my mum said
I sat back by the dinning table with a few plates
Jiyoon placed a few plates down on the dinning table
"Can I do anything else for you, ma'am?" She asked
"No not really, but would like to walk with Berry?" My mum asked
"Ofcourse, I really would too" Jiyoon smiled and left the room
"She likes Berry very much" my mum said
"Luckily Berry likes everyone" I said
My mum chuckled
We started to eat

"So how is the company doing?" My mum asked
"Pretty good" I said while I took a sip of my glass of water
"That's good to hear, how is your secretary.. Hyunjin right?" She asked
"He is working hard and very passionate about it" I said
My mum nodded
"Do you already have a girlfriend" she suddenly asked
I almost choked on my food when she asked that
"Oh..uh.. no mum" I stuttered and scratched my neck
"That's sad, aren't there nice girls at the company?" She asked and took a sip of her drink
"Yes, there are but not my type" I lied to her
"What's your type then? I want to know my daughter in law will be" she asked
"Well they have to be kind and caring" I said
"Hyunjin is kind and caring" I thought
"But mom, what if I told you I like boys?" I asked nervous
"Chan, I will support you and love you unconditionally no matter what" she said with a kind voice
I slight smiled

After dinner I went to old room and huh nothing changed
I sat on my bed with Berry on my lap, patting her
Why do I always have to lie about my sexual orientation to my parents, why can't I just say mom, dad I like boys and I have a boyfriend called Hyunjin
It's frustrating me
I sighed and I felt a bit sleepy so I got off my bed and left my room to go to the bathroom and do my night routine
When I came back into my room after doing my night routine
I took my clothes off and I went in bed
Berry came to me and laid beside me
I patted her head and fell asleep
