"Just go," I begged Ashton.

"No, there's no point," he disagreed, making me groan as I laid back down on the couch feeling defeated.

"Everything was figured out," I argued. "My medication will be here tomorrow, my dad will lose custody, my mom will lose custody, and we have no plans,"

"Doesn't matter, I want to spend time with you,"

"Bullshit," I scoffed.

"Hey," he quickly got defensive.

"You're too nervous to see Margaret, that's why," I teased, making his face heat up. "Are you going to kiss her?"

"Jesus, are we in middle school?"
"I'd say yes,"

"Either way, that's none of your business, plus I'm not going,"

"You were invited to a party and you're not going,"

"Exactly,"

"You're so lame,"

"I want to spend time with you,"

"We're not gonna do anything anyways,"

"We could finish your room, I could help you unpack,"

"No, I don't want you to help,"

"Hey," he put a hand over his heart, "I take offense to that,"

"It's a bunch of girl stuff, that's embarrassing,"

"Not embarrassing,"

"For a fifteen year old it is,"

"Alright, alright fine," he put his hands up. "I will go to the party, but not for a long time,"

"Thank you,"

"But you have to have that room finished by tomorrow,"

"Deal," I nodded.

"I mean it, because we leave for Canada the tenth,"

"I know, you won't stop talking about it,"

"I'm making sure you're prepared,"

"I am,"

"Good,"

"Can I have Evan over while you're gone?"

"Nope,"

"Why?" I groaned as I followed him up the steps.

"Because I'm not stupid," he shrugged. "I know that you like him, and he's not coming over if I'm not home,"

"That's so not fair,"

"My house, my rules," he shrugged, which just made me roll my eyes. "He's not stepping foot in this house,"

"Well can I go get food with him?"

"That's fine,"

"How come that's ok but him coming over isn't?" I questioned.

"Because you're just getting food,"

"But we could make out in his car," I argued, which made him stop dead in his tracks and look at me.

"Touché,"

"You were a teenager too, I mean like 100 years ago," I started.

"You're not helping your case with insults,"

"We're not going to do anything, besides he doesn't like me,"

"I would disagree with that,"

"I can't even make a move or anything, I get too nervous," I huffed as I went to my room with Ashton following.

"Believe me, I understand that,"

"Well then why are we like this?" I groaned and flopped down on my bed.

"I don't even want to start with that," he chuckled and leaned against the doorframe. "I'll tell you what, if you aren't going to do anything stupid, he can come over,"

"Really?"

"Yes, but the room needs to be cleaned tomorrow,"

"Deal," I nodded firmly.
